I've spun dry for a few minutes in the washing machine after soaking, then sat on a towel inside. But maybe you don't have easy access to a machine.
With a child, 2 puppies, a paper-shredding gerbil, and all, we'd be up shit creek without a washing machine lol! I've just been leery of leaving jeans in the spin cycle as I pretty much ruined a nice pair of sugar canes a few years ago.
Erk, I will try the "sushi" method - probably later this week, when I'll have the luxury of staying inside for a while!

Thanks guys!
Roy6, you got me thinking... Never wore to dry before... Freezing temps outside won't work... Now to figure out how to wear them inside without leaving blue stains on everything! I guess I could warm soak, blot with a towel & hope for the best!

Lendo, terrific as usual!
I got inspired by the guys in the LVC contest... So here's my new, unsoaked 37s...
Whites, LVC, FH sweatshirt
Markus - Thanks for the POD suggestion! Just ordered one!

Hey guys! I thought I'd post up some fit pics of my first LVC's It's the 37 model. I went TTS (30), and have not soaked them yet. Lots of room in waist (& hopefully length ) for shrinking...
After years of slimmer, lower-rise jeans, I have to admit these feel strange... I hope the hip flares & baggy ass will settle a bit after soaking. What do you think? Maybe I'm just feeling weird about them because it's my first looser cut
Need to get one of those "pods" that Markus uses... Damn camera kept falling off the sofa....

Love those Flatheads! Can anyone point me a Rakuten store that stocks them please? I'm searching and find some great kids shirts, but no jeans as yet... all help appreciated cheers
I originally got mine through Hinoya, but they no longer seem to stock them. They are shown here:

A few rows down, on the RHS of page. I went through Sutocorp and had them proxy a pair!

TIK, the framelock slab is thinner. But the Leafstorm is nearly half the size of my Strider! For a smaller blade, I don't think you'd be disappointed!
I was thinking of ordering this.... Looks beefy as all hell...

Gaijin, they're second generation golden doodles (golden lab x standard poodle). Brothers from the same litter. The bigger one - Rufus, is more lab-like, and the smaller guy - Shaggy - has more of the curly-haired poodle features.

Just as an FYI... I received the new larger-sized kid's Flatheads for my little girl (went through Suto as none of the usual sites that ship here had them).
The new ones - while just as lovely in quality as the old - no longer have the red tab & old arc design... They've moved to the same design as the adult jeans....

Belts
in superdenim
hi riff, just out of curiosity. how many days did it take from order to receiving the belt?i'm asking because i know they are busier now, so i think my experience this time (27 days and counting) can be an unique case. and i wanted to know how long it usually takes people to receive their stuff...for my future reference.
I checked my emails... It took about two weeks from the time I made the order to when I got it today (to Canada)... I'm happy!
