  1. pbj 007s... debating whether i should give the a wash yet or not.

How many months of wear on those already jwied? That's quite a bit of contrast, esp. if you haven't even washed them yet.

I'd go ahead and give them a wash, idk about 007's, but pbj's don't seem to leak too much indigo from washes in my personal exp's, so no worries. Plus given the amount of wear/contrast evident, they probably aren't smellin' too great right about now.

  2. ^^^^ Thanks for the quick reply tmadd. Those look real nice on the Self Edge website and would definately fit the bill. Any other suggestions?

Not really a Dior fit, but might check out the skull 5010's. Fairly popular Japanese selvedge with a nice slim cut/fit, with faster fading/results and a bit lower of an admission price.

Although...I'm not sure about their durability/longevitity.

  4. Really cool photo from BIG site, new home here.

    shirasu_jiro1.jpg

This picture was taken in 1951 and depicts then 49 year old Jiro Shirasu (白州次郎) who, among many other things, is said to be the first person

in Japan to wear a pair of jeans.

Great pic. Just oozes "bad ass", for a lack of a better term.

  6. ...

Damn, that selvedge line does look quite wide and chunky. Though, probably 4 out of 5 people generally wouldn't really notice, so I don't think you need to worry too much.

If it's still a concern though, could always just stack them uncuffed too, esp. since you got them tapered, it should look fine, imho.

  8. I tried on the xx-005 in OW in size 29. I wear a 27 in the 660s and felt the fits were no where close. The 005s are much slimmer, especially in the thighs.

Nice looking 660s. But yeah, true that, the 660 does feel and slightly fit more relaxed from the knee up, esp. the crotch area and the thighs I guess, thus noticeably more comfortable (the easy/rapid stretching char. of the denim also probably plays a factor, as well).

But overall, even given that, on me at least, I find the fit/look/silhouette of the two to be fairly similar (compared w/ my sz 30 pbj, respectively), perhaps xx-005ish if I had gone up to a sz 31. Though...maybe it could just be b/c of my build.

  9. My girlfriend wore almost exclusively these for about a year, and I realize I am facing some serious neg rep by posting more pictures of nudies, but perhaps the serious shrinkage of my already small e-peen will inspire her to give up the nudies and go to work on something a little more serious.

No hate. Those Nudies actually turned out quite well.

And...it's actually kind of cool you got a gf who's not only into raw denim, but actually sticks w/ it and works on 'em for the long haul. Kudos.

  10. Ah, thanks to whoever picked up the Skulls 5507s in 29/30, and earlier in the week...the remaining wh 1000xx's.

Had them bookmarked and kept going back to look at them, but my conscious held on and wouldn't let me pull out the plastic... Now that they're gone, feels much better since I won't have to battle the demons anymore, lol.

  11. Well, just a wee bit late, but finally started to wear these a couple days ago after putting my pbj's on a sabbatical.

Final measurements came pretty much spot on to BiG's chart, and actually a bit smaller in a few cat's.

For those who care, post wash on sz 28:: w: 14.5", in: 33", fr: 10", rr: 13.5", th: 10.75", hem: 7.5"

Fit is great so far, similar to xx-005's, but with the higher rise & less stiff/slubbiness...which make them feel noticeably more comfortable when worn.

Will add pics later if I get the chance, hopefully I can catch up with some of you guys.

edit: after washing the pbjs and wearing the 660s for a few days, I'm going to say that the pbjs are indeed quite slimmer than the 660s in fit, overall. A more realistic comparison would be that the 660s, freshly washed/soaked, fit like a slightly more relaxed pair of well worn and stretched xx-005s (+2-3 sizes up).

There is no doubt that when new or freshly washed though, the xx-005 fit slimmer all around, esp. noticeable and accentuated with the stiffer, slubby/cardboard texture of the pbj's.

  12. If I could, I'd take back my vote and vote for Ozawa.

Dizon's recent pics make her look freaky (in a legitimately scaring/bizarre way) as hell. Plus she was an import model, lmao. Those shady bitches.

Ozawa may have 12 dicks surrounding her, spewing man juice. But at least she's honest with herself and looks cute while at it.

  13. Say what you will, but for the first time in awhile, Hatton made this Mayweather fight at least not a snooze fest. I usually fall asleep watching most of his fights, no scarcasm either, literally.

Heart was with Hatton, but even before the fight, even for a small 147-lb'er, PBF still was significantly more massive than Hatton, so the result wasn't hugely shocking.

Make no doubts, 140 is Hatton's weight class, he shouldn't even think about going more than that. At 140 (and with better refereeing), the fight would have been more fireworks, and I think Hatton would have had a more realistic chance at an upset. But that said, even if he were to go down to 140 (never), PBJ would still be the better technically skilled fighter, though the fight would have been much more balanced.

  14. u talking about real life or supertalk.

Was talkin' about real life. But with online communities (myspace, f-book, bb/s/forums, et al) becoming so prevalent and second nature, I guess the line could be or is becoming blended/mixed.

They just like to do this like they like to fight for the bill at the end of the meal.

Haha, yeah. Another branch of the exclusive asian 'excessive syndrome'. The more popular ones being excessive intoxicated redness/flushing and this current topic.

Fortunately won't have to encounter the 2nd stage (as the adult) of the "well my child is better than hers, but yours is quite talented in ___, however, did you know that my child ranked 2nd in state in ____" syndrome for awhile (already suffered through the 1st stage playing as "the child").

I'm half japanese and my mom is a 1st Gen.

but I don't know what you're talking about. maybe it's because I'm surrounded by white people...

    Yeah. True that.

  15. This should prolly be in ask an asian thread?.

Haha yeah, maybe. I was thinking about it, but then I heard that thread is a complete slut and player, not to mention it secretly implants trackers on your PC and steals your online bank passwords while pretending to befriend you with friendly gestures...all the while to steal money from you to fund its hush, hush, on the DL hobby of smoking crack and shooting heroin. Oh yeah, did I mention its family are complete fake snobs and users who cheats everybody for their money. If that wasn't bad enough, I know for a fact, it gave 6 users hepatits B, two of them were friends of one of my friend's friend.

But if this gets out, remember you didn't hear this from me. ;)
