I have mixed feelings about Nudies and am leaning towards the APCs. I figure APCs might be a better introduction until I feel ready and confident enough to move on to bigger and better things.

I know this may be like comparing apples to oranges, but if I'm a 32 waist in these Gap khakis (http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=11889&pid=493610) would a 31 waist be appropriate in these Nudie Grim Tim Black Selvedge (http://www.revolveclothing.com/DisplayProduct.jsp?product=NUDI-MJ45&c=Nudie+Jeans&d=b)?

Also, would a 30 in APC New Standards fit?

Hopefully someone can answer this quickly: What is the rise measurement on the Hipsters for a 30 waist? I know they're 2cm shorter than the New Standards with the rest of the measurements being the same as the New Standards. But I can't locate the rise measurement for NS either (possibly a result of my own stupidity). My natural waist is 32, so I'd probably be buying 30's.

Hipsters are also selvedge, correct?
