BEST idea i've heard all week. my finals are next week. Too bad there's no chance i'm getting over 200 for all of them. more like 65....

Dude I got back $120 so I'm taking it and buying a pair of new cures and then will probably break them in till my birthday in nov and maybe buy a pair of kmw rockers or something along those lines.

I have a Gibson SG special that's basically been my baby since I got it. I had an epiphone hollow-body for a bit but ended up selling it because I never used it. I wouldn't mind a tele or a les paul special though...

Here is an update on both of my greycasts

left: regular ralf greycast; 28 months old; 8-10 washes (don't know exaclty)

right: slim jim greycast; 9.5 months old; 1 cold soak

When you dream about buying your next pair of jeans. And then it becomes a depressing dream because you realize that these jeans were bought a size too big and stretched far too much. I can't fucking believe I had a DREAM about that.

My favorite is London by Burberry. Their advertising describes it as a mix of tobacco, leather, and port wine. Whatever it actually is I fucking love it.

Can someone do me a favor when they go to their local mall? Just walk into Ruehl, and tell me whether their scents are good. I know, it's Ruehl, but I'm not sure, but I smelt this vanilla scent, and it might be from them. It was amazing.

I love the smell of that store. Out of that group of stores I think that's by far the best smelling one.

They're clipped at the waist line a lot to set the creases there because those are only shaped when you're sitting.

I'm amazed how people on here can judge jeans' cut and quality from the way that one model on a website wears them and from some relatively far-away photographs. :roll:

I had seen them in person before posting this and I don't think the quality is representing the brand Evisu used to be.

And based off the pictures, the cut of these jeans looks just like a pair of True Religions or Seven For All Mankind, neither of which are of any interest to me (nor to the general SuFu collective it seems). They're not going to put a model in a crappy position, they would place a person to accentuate what is 'good' about the jean they're trying to sell. Those pictures are meant to appeal to the consumer base and based off that assumption I think it'd be safe to say that's how they're going to fit most people.

This isn't really big news, I saw Evisu's at Urban Outfitters like a year ago. Legit pairs I think, they were like 250 a pop.

I can understand wanting to expand your market base. Evisu started out of a love for denim but profit is always in mind which I can understand it's a business. I just wish they'd expand their base without bending to the greater will.

So I saw this and couldn't find another thread on the subject so I figured I'd make a post. The line seems to all be pre-wash, a lower price point, and a toned down lower back pocket.

Personally, not a fan. But I figured I'd see how everyone else seems to feel about Evisu doing this.

I'm ordering a pair of New Cures tomorrow from the denimbar. My nudie slim jims are a 28 and fit comfortably. However I also tried on a pair of April 77 Joeys there and in those I was a 29. So if I'm ordering to fit like that should I move just one size down like he did to a 27?
