  1. My neck is a tree trunk so it is physically impossible unless they have that extra fabric extension on the neck.  But I wouldn't do it regardless.  But I know some people like the look.  I think it looks alright if you're a tall skinny dude.

I have the same problem coupled with being short.  Not like, I'm only 5'5" short but Prince height short.  Which is too bad because I actually like the buttoned up look.

  2. In terms of a Golden Age, I worry that what we're seeing with brands like Samurai adding more and more novelty (limited edition cuts/denim) that we're actually in the final years and manufacturers are forced to create demand through artificial means rather than new folks stumbling into raw denim and getting hooked.  Most of the kids I see on the street are wearing what I like to call Leisure Ninja: sweat pants or similar with a drop crotch and serious taper to a scrunchee opening. I get that it's comfortable but to my eyes you look like you shop at Baby Gap.

  3. im sorry but john lofgren accused me of something thats not true. anyways  i still think that ishmael is fucking lofgren in the ass or the other way around... im sorry just had to say this.

now going back has any of you experienced the difference from a brand lets say Real mccoy from the product today  compared to its product 6 years ago?

or any other brands. WH, FC  etc etc... show some pictures please doesnt matter if they improved or the other way around..

I don't know what your beef is, and I've always found you pretty agreeable, but homophobia is pretty boring dude.

  4. It's still a good thread to look back on.  I can't remember who said it in an interview but there's a wealth of info about construction and fabrics buried on this board if you know how to look.

Anyway, has anyone purchased a pair of the denimbridge 3rd model or have any fit pics hidden somewhere?

  5. To add to the strike gold vs pbj debate, my Strike Gold's are going strong after a year of heavy wear and a year of light wear with minimal repairs from Self Edge. When I took them in for repair, at a little over a year, the crotch was starting to thin but had no holes. The crotch was shot on my PBJs in less than 8 months.
