  1. It basically is. I just bought the hats a couple weeks back, and I bought the kit back in September. I use to have a Pearl Export and a Yamaha DP before that, respectively.

  2. Post all your instruments up if you're a musician!

    I'll start:

    My Gretch Catalina Club kit:

    18x16 kick

    12x8 mounted tom

    14x14 floor

    14x5.5 snare

    And the new hats...

    other cymbals are:

    Sabian AA Raw Ride 20"

Sabian Pro Sonix Crash 16" (soon to be replaced with a Zildjian Oriental Crash of DOOM)

  3. I'll be picking up a suit tomorrow that's been tailored for me. The original suit cost upwards of $1k but I got it for just $300 at this local consignment store with an in-house tailor. Everything is extremely nice, and it fits very well. I told the guys I wanted a slimmer fitting suit and they hooked me right up.

Look around your area for these privately owned suit places. From my experience you can get great deals, and a great fitting suit.

  4. This morning in my world religions class we were watching "Wide Awake" by M. Night Shyamalan..

It's not really a sad movie at all, but it almost made me tear up thinking of my grandpa who just got out of the hospital.

Also, I've gotta second Grave of the Fireflies, and King Kong.

  5. I was getting pissed off at that Zoe lady's accent, and I told to my friend, "I hope she's the first to die of the group."

Sure enough, she's the one who ends up on the front of the car, but sadly she didn't die.

The ending more than made up for that though.

  6. Yeah I'm a bit torn on the coffe table chats that went on for a large portion of the movie. I didn't enjoy watching them while they were going on, but after seeing the whole movie come together at the end, it's pretty clever. Tarantino not only establishes the characters so you actually care what happens to them, but it also makes the intense action scenes more enjoyable and amplifies their intensity.

I definitely see what he's going for, although I don't know if that's neccesarily the best way to make an action film.

I loved everything about Grindhouse though. It was just amazing.

  7. I've lived in or around Denver, CO for all my life.

While it'd be awesome to have been/lived in all the places that some of you have in your lifetimes, I'm at the same time thankful that I've been in the same place, as it has afforded me the ability to keep in touch with everyone that I've met.

  8. Hey man if you would have read his next post in superconfessional really all he's worried about is getting his cock bit by a spider in the shower.

I think we can all relate.
