Somet Straights, Somet Slims, Dior 19cm, or something else. Or no new purchase?

I ask becasue I feel I've contracted the denim fever ever since I bought my pair of Ande Whalls. Now, as much as I love these jeans, I am quite tough on them as I'm sure some of you saw in my 2 month evolution pictures. In light of that, I'd like to be able to get another pair so as to "lighten the load" on my Rakers. And, because I have this inexplicable urge to buy another expensive pair of jeans.

So, you guys be the judge -- help me decide!

I'm 6'4, 175lbs and am looking for a slimmer pair of jeans as indicated above.

I think in a couple more months I'm going to give these a proper wash.. They should look really nice then I think.

After that I plan on buying some Somets, and I'll retire these to a weekend jean. I don't want to completely destroy them!

Here are my AWs that I got back in mid-March. I've worn them every day. A couple weeks back I gave them a cold soak in some Woolite dark to get this ugly dirt color off of them after I roto tilled a neighbor's yard, and now they're much softer and the color is really starting to show. Great jeans.

I could be wrong, but I believe the whole idea behind not washing your jeans is to allow time for some significant wear. It takes a while for people to accrue wear on their jeans due to relatively inactive lifestyles, but if you're doing work that is as hard as you say it is, washing frequently shouldn't be a problem since you're just speeding up the wear process through your yardwork.

Wear your Sams. If they get ridiculously dirty or smelly, wash them. It's pretty simple.

If you'd really just like to get away from Windows, and don't mind learning a new OS, stick with a PC and just run a Linux distribution and if you don't like that interface, use KDE.

Or, you could get a Windows laptop and wait for the new release of KDE to come out and you'll be able to run it on Windows. That way, you'll have the feel of using a completely different OS, but you'll still have all the benefits of Windows, like running useful applications.

I just got some sperrys in the mail last week and I have not taken them off since then. They're so comfortable..

He's been talking about spreading the work load out amongst other workers, but that still remains to be seen. I'd be interested to hear what he has to say though..

What about Ande's jeans? Seems like that would be easy enough to negotiate, and it would be sweet to have everyone not only supporting him, but also getting to test out the new v4's.

Granted, this all depends on whether Ande would be down/is physically able to make pairs for a bunch of people..
