  1. STILL AVAILABLE

(a friend was going to buy it and then never came through)

I clicked a little too eagerly and ended up with a brand new NC jacket that doesn't fit me.

The place I ordered it from won't take it back - so I'm forced to sell it.

It's brand new, never been worn.

It's one of the best looking jackets I've ever seen. A lot of the typical sweet NC details.

Zip up, with big chunky metal buttons you can button on top of that or instead of.

Asymmetrical design, thick & soft canvas material.

    Sectioned deconstructive sleeves.

    Nice Collective "Target" jacket

    Black

    XL

    Retails for ~$370

    Looking for $225 shipped

    Other reasonable offers considered.

  3. confirm/deny?

the bson ones ive seen are softcotton not that mesh and don't have contrast at the pockets like that

it cud just be the pic tho iunno

    Think it's just the pic.

There's a B100 soft cotton one with external pockets and a BSon version with hidden pockets and nicer material with a bigger weave.

    Might be getting those confused.

  4. Change is fine as long as it serves a purpose.

This site just got 10x more confusing and visually cluttered.

I realize that there was probably a lot of hard work put into this but I really, really don't see any improvements.

The site could have been cleaner and simpler as it was but now it's even harder to navigate, the visual hierarchy is completely jacked and it took me forever to find things.

Now several things take more clicks than they used to (messages, etc) and it's much harder to just simply READ A THREAD because there's so much visual clutter.

This makes me very, very, very sad.

  5. The thing that sucks about all these shots is the shoot went so well, and when I asked to get paid for the shots, they back out and say they can't afford anything right now. Totally sucks. Shoot went so well and was a ton of fun though. At least these are some of the best portraits I've ever taken.

Great thing to learn right away: bands never have money but when they do they spend it on gear and BEER

Just don't expect to get money out of it unless you arrange it with the label/manager and you'll be fine. :)

Still enjoyable, and a good way to test out new shit.

  6. Yeah, I downloaded that DVD.

Watched the first 15 mins then scrubbed through the rest.

All of the good parts are in the trailer.

It's mostly them walking around speaking french with badly transcribed subtitles.

Only funny part was Xavier singing 'Under the Bridge' in horrible French-glish to Anthony Kiedis.

Thank you internets for saving me $20.

  7. When I buy raw, unsanforized denim - is the idea to buy it tight so it'll stretch out?

Or to buy slightly loose so it can tighten up with a hot soak?

I keep buying unwashed denim that just doesn't seem to stretch out as much as I want . . .

    (eg: Some APC new Cures from last year . . . still don't feel right around my hips . . . and I'm a guy :[ )

    Thanks

I can't tell if the baggyness at the ankle is the shoe or the pant.

Regardless, the idea of a pant that is gathered to stack a ton at the ankle is kinda cool.

I'm liking the mixture of slim + baggy in the same pant from this an other labels. Like drop crotch, baggy thigh - tight calf, etc.

    Kinda pastoral-sci-fi or something.

  9. If people were into Justice because of their live instrument playing skills . . . well then you were due to be greatly disappointed the first time you saw them and realized they sampled and didn't play the horns themselves.

Electronic music is generally pretty boring, and usually about 100x more boring live.

At least Justice makes it fun.

I know Justice manipulates shit live - I've seen em do it.

But they're manipulating pre-recorded stuff. Big deal.

It's still the most exciting eletronic concert I've ever been to.

It definitely WAS more fun when they weren't as big and it was a small crazy dance party as opposed to a HUGE crazy dance party.

Same thing happened with Girl Talk . . . first two shows were amazing, last one was full of 15 year olds who were 3 years old when the original songs were on the radio and just wanted to get on stage and take their shirts off:

It's just what happens when your favorite band gets 'big'.
