Entourage was never going to be affected unless the strike went into the summer. It's a summer series so from the end of February to June is more than enough time to get the first few episodes written and shot.

Gangs of New York was actually the first movie that put me on to DDL. The way he yelled "Whoopsy Daisy!" just did it for me. I do agree with polishmike in that Gangs of New York is a much weaker movie compared to There Will Be Blood.

My film-lit proffessor and I were talking about DDL in class the other day and suggested watching The Boxer, so I'll be checking that out soon.

That's basically all the awards I care about. I really don't think Casey will beat out Javier Bardem but would LOVE to see it happen. Juno lucked out by being an "original screenplay". I'm very happy to see Once nominated for original song, I honestly don't get why it didn't get at least a nom for the GG. NCFOM seem like the favorite for most of the categories it received a nomination in but I'd rather see something else win. Also, where the hell is Brad Pitt for Best Actor. Would've liked to see Sunshine get a nomination in cinematography but that was never going to happen.

I didn't think Down in the Valley was particularly amazing for a first film it shows promise but he is an exceptiional actor and I think is a very good story.

I actually liked the hour long episodes. The hour long episodes gave them more time to show us who the characters were as people instead of just fitting in jokes. I like that we saw a little of Michael's miserable life with Jan in the bankruptcy episode. They're also going back to Jim being dissappointed with how his life is (Second Life).

I do agree it isn't as funny as previous seasons, except for the DVD player thing.

I love this show. I watched it for all of Season 1 but when they introduced DeVito I stopped. I got back into it in the current season and it's still really good. The abortion episode and the pedophile gym teacher episode were great.

I actually might see it tomorrow but I don't have high hopes. Anderson needs to fresh up his style cause it's getting very repetitive. I saw the short 'Hotel Chevalier' that's a prologue to the film and besides Portman's ass I found it bleak.

I don't think he needs to change up his style, he just needs to start writing with Owen Wilson again.

In addition to The Darjeeling Limited, I'm really looking forward to watching My Blueberry Nights.

Yea, it is a really slow movie and it does seem to just drag on. To my memory there is no actual Daft Punk music in it. However try watching it while playing the Human After All album. I read somewhere that it works with the movie.
