I need some gloves for the cold, I really have no experience. I live in Arizona so I have never had any real need for them, but this year seems an awful lot colder than previous years.

I really (Leather but with ribbed cuff) like these from J.Press but the price seems pretty high for what I would be willing to pay:

Any recommendations for similar gloves (Leather with ribbed cuff) at a cheaper price? Should I just cheap out and buy some regular knit ones? Are there any benefits to leather lined ones over knit ones besides the aesthetic differences?

i really don't like the white faced iwc mark xv or xvi, esp for dress occasions. the pilot watch style isn't at all formal if that's what you meant. and the spitfires are dogshit too. the black faced are perfect for everyday, but def not formal.

Well i didnt think prof wanted the piaget as a formal watch since hes young. I think that iwc is simple enough to look good with raf and what he wears but it can still take a beating. I agree tho, not at all good for formalwear.

rugby university chinos. traditional enough to make you want to wear them but modern enough to not look old. only bad thing is tall/skinny folks are mostly out of luck with sizes.

Same here, i started wearing pants cut a bit more generous. cures and 511s and a lot of chinos. I think i might even sell one of my aprils on the market soon. I've been wearing mad Rugby Chinos, if you want slim(er) more trad chino you should try them. Acne has some antifit tapered jawns i thinkkk

I basically swear on this brand. Its relatively cheap and I think you get more than what you pay for. I own two pairs of the chinos, the fit is great and the quality isnt bad, the only downside is they dont have sufu approved sizes, however if you are in the normal sizing range you should be good (remember chinos aren't supposed to stack so your inseam is shorter than your jean inseam).

Those wide wale cords are pretty good too, cut slim but not skinny, and the tab closure is a nice touch. Not worth retail price (unlike the chinos) but on sale they are def worth the money.

And I already have the Sportsmans High in black so I don't want another pair of those. I was looking at those a.p.c. german armys but I dont like how they are canvas.

Actually I might just get the achilles low in white. In the couple pics I've seen of the court shoes worn, the silhouette looks weird as hell.
