  1. A friend if mine has invited me to a party where people all dress up, the weirder, the better. I've got no idea where it is (only that it's in Amsterdam) or what to expect, but if any superfutureduchies are going, I'll be dressed as a ninja-ish warrior and will be wearing Japanese clogs (geta), a dungaree and a 'my neighbour Totoro' t-shirt.

  2. I quite enjoyed the album of Cansei de ser Sexy (CSS), altho they don't know how to speak English, their music is really funky! Check them on youtube, I reccomend the songs 'Alala' and 'let's make love'

Oh, and not to forget, M.I.A.'s Kala! It's great! You only need to give it a few listens to get used to it.

  3. I absolutely loved the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 Lanvin collections. Since my faforite looks of fall already got posted, I'll post my faforite of spring '08

This is how I would want to dress like, comfortable, and a bit indifferent. Love the shoes, and the colorscheme of this collection is nice aswell.

  4. I just found a Lanvin shirt in my father's closet, he gave it to me and I tried it on. Are the shoulders supposed to be small? Everything fits fine, exept for the shoulders(well, it actually fits fine too, but the shoulderseam just isn't on the right place). Is this normal with Lanvin dress shirts? Asking, because you tried one on.

  5. I just bought a pair of bluebells last week(12,5 oz.)! And the fit is perfect(the best fitting jeans I own so far). The tag on the jeans says that it's sanforized but a paper tag with the care instructions that came with the jeans says that they can shrink up to 1 size.

"If you would like to keep the original look and size of this garment please dry clean only. If you choose to wash the garment, please note that:

    - It will shrink one size after washing(please select your size with this in mind)

    -blablabla"

  6. I'm all for the getting drunk part. Any friday/saturday in August seems good so we can cater to the foreign visitors. Colin should definitely attend as part of his inburgeringcursus. But where to meet? ARC? P-King? BEP? Wolvenstraat? Het Paleis? Just some suggestions..

And I hope Andreas will be stopping by.

How about the meetingpoint at the central station? International members don't really know these places, and they'll probably arrive in Amsterdam at the CS.

Or we should buy some crayons and draw arrows on the ground that lead to the meetingpoint. Ha! The superquest.

  7. COS sells great skinny leather belts(width is aprox. 2 cm/0.39 inch), in tan, black, grey-blueish and some other colors. I got one, forgot how much it cost, it was about 40 euro's or something. It's really annoying because they don't show them at the accessories section on the website. You should probably look at the runway show, you can see the belt on the very first male model.

this is the link to the official site:

They don't have an online store tho. You might want to ask someone who lives in one of the the locations where their shops are located. If not, you can ask me, but that will probably be more expensive because I don't live nearby the shop in Rotterdam/Holland.
