I'll try the new ones on tuesday and tell you how they fit. From what I heard, they are slimmer in the thigh. sounds eerily similar to what they tried to do last time. Anyway, as i understand it, this is a big thing because the 501s have never been the same all around the world.

yeah. the cut is changing all around the world, the first time they have had a unified 501 cut. it is becoming similar to the 1947 cut.

they are already changing the cut, we just got in four of the ten or so new 501s that i saw in the fall catalogue. As far as i know, all the 501s are changing shape.

just to let you guys know, ALL Levis stores will recieve the 98 dollar selvedge 501s in a raw and washed form sometime this month. also, they are changing the cut of all 501s around the world, something more similar to the 47 cut.

any reason why Levi's released two womens "throwback" jeans recently? we just got two different 60s labeled jeans into the store, both orange tab little e. weird to see when its not LVC. they also just sent us a womens jean almost like a crop with red yellow and green selvedge.

and we havent even seen most of the dark horse pictures.. lurkers come on out!
