thank you appfaff, i find the speedway piques are what we dont see often (mini cords-fabric, no belt loops, cinch back, cute little selvedge, different cut) just another wonderful piece from mf.

i cant be of much help. i didnt soak mine, but read somewhere that shrinkage will definitely occur but like all denim it will stretch back alittle since its rather light weight. the thing about it, is that it bleeds really bad.

made this, but still not 100% satisfied with the flap. probably gotta modify it a few weeks time, after some use.

thanks for the interview write up.really nice! they really very enjoying what they are doing. thats probably the key to make great jeans.
btw, im curious about the personal project that you mentioned, are they jeans to begin with? or really, ooe x ba?

I can dig it Gnob.
In the end, enjoying denim vicariously is more important to me than money. That's the great thing about a denim hobby - it's cheaper than golf
I think as denim heads on here, what we like is people that are passionate about denim. I'm happy that my ex-jeans are going to a dude that's going to enjoy them. In the end, what more would you really want?
Peace out to all my malingering friends at indigoroots... there's some Red Cloud fans there for real.
And don't forget the big beat manifesto; Big beats are the best, get high all the time.
Yeah, but it is never about the money, I just thought maybe someone with the right size deserves it more. (just to clarify, I didn't opt to take part in this free giveaway,) not that I'm jealous or anything but it defeats the (whole wearing the right size & jeans) purpose, you know what I mean?
Why would he want that pair? ( no grudge against Toby though, I know he is a great contributor, hilarious and all but... two sizes bigger?)
It makes me wonder...
My bad if I have been rude, but I was merely, giving my opinion. Of course I am in no position to advise anyone because I myself got the wrong size. And I know, wrong size means -> wrong cut -> bad fit. So thats why it's only right for me to inform you not to make the same mistake.
good to know everything's ok now. I really appreciate that you made an effort to explaining things.

Hey gregornz, don't be mistaken. I wouldn't do that if I were you, because rc is quite a reputable brand, you could probably keep it and give it away in future, prolly to your relatives etc.. But really, its your jeans anyway..
I'll respect that. it's really very generous of you.

Ok, so I was browsing through another forum..
You might like to reconsider, giving it... Away.

Qing Ming jie... Hmmm.. Will prolly last 3 days there. So you should expect them to be up by Monday.
Btw gregornz, really very generous of you. I hope that person can wear them as hard as you do, and do you proud. Hahah..

No Jon, thats the two storey kapital store in tokyo-ebisu that is called kapital - blue hands. Very interesting store. A few lanes down there's this kapital duffle (no pics) which sells mainly female apparels and fabrics, and then kapital legs.

Thanks guys!
I did spend bout an hour in blue hands though. Pity they didnt allow me to take pics in the store.

i just gotten my prairie shirt, in denim. im awed. by the construction of the shirt. much like the calico chemise, the back part is a little different. simply amazing. pics up tomorrow.
ok i have always know of the MF craze in japan. but this prairie shirt is just amazing. at this rate these prairie shirts will all be sold out in a flash.

Thanks Jon for the post. Definitely a more in-depth article which focus on their machines than most of the ooe atelier posts.

Oh, very nice!! I like the 425 fit on you. On the measurement chart the rise seem to be very low, but they look like it's mid rise on you.

FS: Roy RN-1 size 29
in supermarket
Posted · Edited by Gnob
Hi
Roy RN-1, size 29 looking for $110USD (+shipped!) paypal only
My Measurements:
Waist - 30"
Inseam - 37.1"
thigh - 10.6
knee - 7.5
Leg opening - 6.9
I have absolute no intention of selling this until i found out that i couldnt really wear it well without hurting my waist. and this shouldnt be sitting in the wardrobe. lots of life left for this one.
i procured this about a year ago, last year in May?
did an initial cold water soak, and a hand wash (turned inside out) recently before putting it up here.
there are some whiskers and indigo loss but no tear, no stain no rips or loose threads. buttons & rivets are still intact and have no sign of rusting. Crotch still good, no 'darning' required. Leather tag still looking as strong as ever (because i washed only once)
this is not altered before, not even hem. hence the long inseam.
please PM me (preferably) or email to [email protected]
Thank you for your interest.
