  1. /!\ ADDED SOME MORE PICTURES TO THE BOTTOM OF THE POST /!\

trying to sell this on here rather than deal with the morons on grailed.

£500/$770 shipped to anywhere in Europe, $800 shipped to USA/Canada, ask me for a quote to anywhere else. You pay any paypal fees. I can also do a normal bank transfer in EUR or GBP.

Rick Owens Gradient Leather from SS09. You know what it is. There wasn't a runway show that season, so no cool runway pics. The gradient leather textile was made in threefour different cuts, this one is by far the best, the "Rick's Jacket" cut.

Size M, fits best on a 48 over a t-shirt or a 46 with more layers. Short body, long arms.

This jacket has been worn, it's not in new condition but there is still loads of life left in it.
    - The tyvek coating on body is heavily distressed but that's the way it was intended. There is no damage to the actual body underneath the coating
    - The leather on the sleeves is in great condition
    - Cuffs are in pretty good condition, no pilling
    - The jacket had a strap on the inside for carrying it over your shoulder, but I cut it off because it was annoying for wearing it regularly
    - I also cut off the tag because it was enormous and kept getting caught in the zipper
    - There is a small tear in the lining near one of the inside pockets

    Measurements:

shoulders - 41cm where the shoulder seams meet the sleeve, but the shoulder seam sits in front of the real shoulder  so i think a more appropriate "real" measurement is 45cm (which I got by laying the jacket flat and measuring from the top corners)
    p2p - 51cm
back length - 61cm measured from the neck seam to the bottom, the collar adds another 8cm when folded up
sleeve length (measured from the shoulder seam) - the leather part is 69cm, the cuff another 7cm
    hem - 47cm

The first three pictures are from thirdlooks.com, but Rocky photographed my jacket, ie the one you're buying. I haven't worn it since those photos were taken.

Rest the next two pictures are mine. The close up of the shoulder shows the most distressed part.

The last photo is from hapsical because he's better with a camera than me. It's of his jacket, not the one you're buying.

I figured this out once after a few joints.

Boil until the whites have just barely set, like 2-3 minutes. Immediately take them out and put in an ice bath, or under a tap if you're lazy. Peel them, then bread like a Schnitzel (flour, egg/milk, breadcrumb). The egg surface kind of needs the right moisture/dryness ratio for the flour to adhere the way you want it to. Fry as briefly as possible while still getting it crispy. The yolk will still be runny hopefully, especially if you use large eggs.

I guess it was successful, but honestly it wasnt very good and i dont see it being a component in any dish I ever make in the future. I think if the yolk sets it would be even worse, like a scotch egg without the meat.

  4. naw i dont think so she has an Iphone and i messaged her through Imessage its her #. I really think it boils down to two things, she used to go to my school and be a loner so i was told, and this year she has become a Fashionista-wannabe-instagram famous girl, who is probably getting more attention than she is used to. Furthermore I was told she is now out of school and lives one of those artsy im always in manhattan living such a fantastic life. Anyway I have another girl im pretty sure is hella into me and just broke up with her bf its all good.

read this post back to yourself and theres your answer (its not her)
  5. if you only care about gigawhatevers per dollar then sure, but might as well get a desktop at that point

if you care about portability, noise, heat, battery life, ie the things laptops are for, theyre kinda by far the worst for any of those things

2010 macbook air is still running fine for me, but will probably get whatever looks the most appealing in the next set of apple laptop releases.

  7. There aren't any prepaid SIMs that come with enough data to do lots of tethering or video streaming. For phone use, every train station, supermarket, post office, etc will sell some sort of SIM that will get you maybe 2GB for 15€ or something in that price range. All the small prepaid carriers are basically identical (3G only, ok speed, no customer service to speak of) so doesn't really matter which one you pick. In Austria I use BOB, in Belgium I use Lyca/Lebara because every corner shop has top-ups for them.

Also worth noting 3 has a thing where your UK prepaid (£15 for unlimited data + 2GB tethering) will work at no extra cost in any other country that also has 3, which is more and more of them, so getting local SIMs is becoming less important. I think this works not just with UK 3 pre-paid but also 3 prepaid from any other European country, so might be worth noting if you plan to go to a lot of countries.
