my school recently introduced card payment machines at all the food/coffee places on campus

getting a snack used to take 30 seconds, now you have to stand in line behind a bunch of people who all pay for their £1.20 or whatever by card and have to enter their pin code etc

same taste as in america but like double the price, same with shake shack, somehow it still ends up being a pretty good deal compared to other london burger spots.

why would you ever want to go to canary wharf unless someone is paying you loads to work there

Coffee game outside of America is like v shitty

high end coffee game doesnt really exist that much in europe because our everyday coffee is good enough that people dont feel the need to compensate by going full autism about it. i had some amazing coffees on my last trip to america but tbh my regular here is good enough that i dont really feel the need to invest a lot of extra time/money into getting something better. its just coffee.

same reason why there are so many 'foodies' in london. because everyday food is garbage.

Does anyone use their Retina MBP at a scaled resolution? I'm thinking of getting this new Macbook, but only if it doesn't look like crap while running in scaled 1440x900.

Just started playing Morrowind again. There are so many terrible design decisions in this game but that somehow doesn't make it less amazing. My previous two playthroughs (like 10 years ago) were a warrior and a thief. This time I'm a mage, and it's probably the most fun type of character to play.

If the job pays well it might be worth finding a cheap room/sublet nearby so you can spend the night there if you feel like it
