What is this book of which you speak and how does one obtain a copy?

This book is a self-pubished monograph featuring over 80 Superfuture members who met up with me from early 2007 and onward.

I will probably update the thread and somehow make it more public once the book is completed. March – April 2010.

what amazes me the most is that these look so different depending on the light conditions...one time they are completely black - sometimes they appear to be gray - and than again they seam to be a purple blue...

I'm definitely picking up on the purple hues. In bright direct sunlight it's greyed out. Very interesting and fun to wear since it changes constantly.

Halos for Africa! It's a good start but I think more subtle is better.

I will say that my money is on Beatle (for very obvious reasons). I saw her pair from two summers ago, and they were completely destroyed. I'm looking forward to seeing how this progresses; the timing of a new year with a new project makes it just that much more exciting.

I'll be putting up some more shots soon. The mid-length wallet is coming out of retirement for this one.

I'm undecided on cuffing, but I'm very happy with the jeans thus far. Jeans are hemmed to 33".

Beatle proposed an idea to have a "contest", between the two of us, a few days before the launch of the SExIH07 black overdyes.

I am planning on wearing these jeans from, today, 12/18/2009, until 12/18/2011. This thread will be documenting wear on the jeans, though this collaboration will end after one year; she'll go into the Eternal contest (which, I believe, starts in October of 2010) a bit late, and I'll do the remaining year by myself.

I'm not sure what content will be posted, but it will be similar to the Dirty Dozen. There will be updates every week, and progress photographs. Some people were talking about putting down cold hard cash to see who will "win", but this is probably more of a friendly.

Beatle is somewhere preppin' a post for this thread, so she'll be following up with more details shortly.

Anybody have issues with the back pockets on their IH's wearing out pretty quick? I've only had these for about 4 months. (Warning: I'm ride a bicycle every day but I'm not doing full days messenger work any more, really just commuting and riding around for transport.)

If you hemmed your jeans by 4", you'd improve the fit exponentially. (Always a no stack concept.)
