Wow, shit on me for trolling, but you sound like a troll or a nigerian e-mail scammer who just sprung an interest in dior denim.

It's okay though, cause that means you're my new favorite poster--even though I can't read your never-ending run-on sentences.

  3. Yea, that's what I have been doing. Not they aren't too noticable right now, but if this is just 2 months, its going to be pretty bad come washing time. Oh well, comes with the territory I suppose

At least with APCs, the stretching of the rest of the denim makes up for the baggy knees--unless you've really sized down like 3 sizes. I'm more sad about my--offtopic--diors cause they haven't shrunk as much so the knees are more exaggerated. I guess it could be a whole lot worse. I feel like with APCs there's more leeway since they just tend to get real worn in, fast.

  4. Anyone have any suggestions for reducing knee bulges? I'm about 2.5 months through breaking them in, and these things have pretty serious knee balloonage. Any suggestions for pre-wash knee shrinkage, or general pre-wash shrinking?

I think, from what I've read around searches, people have said soaking the knees and letting it dry would reduce it, or just washing them in general.

But everyone has kind of agreed--wear them proudly, for they bear your rights as a wearer of dry denim.

  5. Sidney digging the fit of the APCs.. which model?

    They're New Standards... in a size 26.

Hey, I want one of those!

Are you interested in the shirt or the editioned prints? I'm about to sign and edition them later and put them up for a charity sale in two weeks, but I'm keeping half to sell on my portfolio site.

As for the shirts, they were a test venture from my friend and I--they were printed on American Apparel (because the wholesale was convenient as fuck.)

    :)

  6. also with the macbook pros.. do you pay $100+ for the black one just for it being black or does it have extras?

You get a 120GB internal HDD over the 80GB version. That is all. Oh, and the right to call your MacBook a BlackBook... if you'd like.

  7. it's almost Dell like.

I would disagree. It's aluminum encasing has been present since it's inception after the TiBook--in fact since the name change and switch to Intel, the MacBook Pro has kept the exact same enclosure with its smooth aluminum, except for the extra margin on the top of the screen for the built-in iSight.

my macbook lags with photoshop/illustrator because it's running thru emulation from the power pc versions. i'm sure if adobe had intel versions it'd be fine.

Rosetta is the software you speak of. And yes it is slower, but also know on the upside, the latest 10.4.8 OSX update has seen marginal improvements of up to 25% in Rosetta when emulating PPC apps such as CS2.

love the black books but im going to need something functional too! ugh tough call but i think i will go pro. otherwise i just can tell i will regret it down the road.

Good call. As awesome as the MacBook looks, feels, tastes, whatever, I've worked in Apple for long enough and gone through enough research to acknowledge the shortcomings that come with the consumer end line.

But to each his/her own. MacBooks functions well, it's just better for a power user or someone going to be a power user to jump for a Pro model.

  8. I don't know why but witts outfits make more sense to me now after the video.

I think people are quick to go "HYPEBEAST, HYPEBEAST" when it's just pictures--I think the same way all the time. I think the video shows more than just the waywtd, so it definitely looks and fits well on him. So for everyone shit talking, I think this puts it to rest.

    Good fit Witts. /rhyme

  9. Nice fit. I like the way that all of your outfits look just as good when you're moving as they do when you're standing still.

    Thank you :)

sidneylo:when you wear your slipons sockless, do your shoes start to smell from all the sweat? cause i'd like to start wearing mine sockless as well.

Well now you just made me put my nose into my shoe and sniff.

There is a smell, but it just smells like a foot was in there, nothing reeking. I've worn it for about 10-12 days worth without socks. It's not odorless but it doesn't stank. If anything I'm sure a little febreeezy will take care of it.

Also, I'm assuming it will depend on how much your feet sweat.
