    1) SOLD LVC deadstock 1947 in size 28x34. I believe these are from the 2007 line. I picked them up for my girlfriend, but she isn't interested in shrinking, sizing, or really boy jeans in general. You know the deal - hidden rivets, selvage, stf, leather tag, big E, etc. Retail was $245 (may be more now?). I'd love to trade for other deadstock LVCs in 34x36 or so. $140>>>$120>>>>$110, shipped.

    Measures:

    Waist: 28"

    Inseam: 34"

    Hem: 8"

    Shoulders: 19"

    Chest: 23.5"

    Sleeves: 24.5"

    Length (w/o hood/collar): 38"

  3. I realized, for an Austinite, I have a ridiculous number of jackets, especially waxed jackets. Gotta let this one go. Prices include shipping in the USA (willing to do international at cost). PM me or email me at [email protected]. I prefer PayPal as a personal gift, but willing to take regular payments, too.

    1) Belstaff Greenford black blouson, size L. NWT. I'm a 40, and this fits me well. Quite a slim fit. Leather trim on the bottom, collar (leather strap), sleeves, and pockets. Hidden drawstring at the waist. Double zipper. Zippered sleeve openings for a snug fit. Warm fleece trim. A surprisingly warm jacket - the quilting does its job. Paisley lining. Very subdued branding for a Belstaff. I'm not sure why the large tag says "British made and designed" when there is also a small almost hidden tag that says "made in Italy." Perhaps Belstaff imported real lie Britishers to Italy?

    Measurements:

    Shoulders: 19"

    Chest: 22 3/4"

    Sleeves: 26.5"

    Length (w/o collar): 26"

It pains me to sell this, but it just isn't really suitable for my climate or purposes. Retail was $795. $430>>>>$405, shipped in the USA.

  4. Was Taylor Togs the rag & bone manufacturer? Their early stuff was actually really well done. A new plant would explain the drop in quality.

Ah, somehow I never knew big E type 3s were sanforized. The vintage ones I've owned have fit quite a bit smaller than sized.

Edit - looks like r&b started with production in Kentucky, then moved to TT, then ostensibly moved somewhere else.

  5. I wonder what the logic is for some items being made in the USA. Surely the denim on the type 3 is Cone? Odd.

Made in Turkey. The material is stiff as hell. They are still drying from their initial soak. Despite the initial soak, they are still hard as hell..

@Eltopo : Nice fit as usual!

  6. I just got these in the mail from eBay, cheap. They were sold as Yuketen samples (and indeed they look like a cross between Yuk's munson shoes and officer boots from last fall). They don't have any logos or names, though, and no insole. I think they are a little too much boot for my candy ass - if anyone wants them, they can take 'em at my cost. Labeled a 12EE, made in USA, but fit like a standard 12 on the munson last.

  7. Looks nice, but no finished gussets is almost a deal breaker for me, more so than a chin strap (which is often just an irritant).

^^Looks like D'artisan. Are you pitching some kind of soft sell here, Switch? If so, I am interested.

I want to give some love to probably the best workshirt I own, this popover made by Steven Alan. Although SA is a major part of the untucked-shirt axis, they really made an effort to do this one right.

Note the low, moderately sized pockets.

IRL the chambray is significantly more gray/violet. Best detail IMO are concealed collar buttons--after a wash, they leave circular imprints like the collar snaps on a worn A-2 jacket. I will try to take pictures of this some time.

  8. SOLD Adding these Rachel Comey derringers in 11.5. Moss suede color - slightly darker than the flash made them appear. These just came today, nice as hell, kills me to cut them loose. Perfect casual oxfords to replace the sneakers in the warddrobe or dress down a suit. I sized down a 1/2 size, and they're just a bit too narrow for my porky feet. Got a great deal due to a forum PSA, just trying to recoup what I spent. NIB, only tried on for a couple minutes. Comes with dustbag. Retail was $325. $120>>$110>>>$100 shipped.

  9. I can't remeber how many times I've seen chinstraps in the mainstream lately - I've even seen Justin Bieber with one.

Whenever I see a chinstrap on a kid on TV, I take it for granted it's J Crew. J Crew seems to be the baseline signifier of semi-stylish teen on tv.

  10. I suspect that the speed with which stfs fade is dependent on how they're soaked. I soaked my 47s twice before wearing them and dye became very saturated (even the tag and selvage were dyed). They faded very slowly. Just depends.

  11. Just found out my car's a/c needs an (incredibly expensive repair). Gotta cut loose a bunch of things I haven't yet used. Damn you, Honda, build a compressor that lasts more than four years. I'll be adding more things later when I figure it out.

Prices include shipping in the USA. PM me or email me at [email protected]. Happy to combine shipping. Check my sig for other things. Prefer payments as personal gifts, but I understand not everyone is comfortable with that.

    1) SOLD Engineered Garments s/s 10 white dobby workshirt in M, NWT (didn't come w/ a EG hangtag, for some reason). Nice herringbone pattern, one clear button, all the usual EG workshirt details.
