  1. I reckon celebs, like most folks, don't really care too much about fading. I'm certain most can't even wrap their heads around the concept of vintage denim, since it's targeted towards a niche audience. Even most people on here don't wear their jeans to oblivion. They wear them until they get respectable fades, and then purchase another pair.

I know that with hip hop culture or street culture or whatever that if you have any fades on your raw jawnz you get made fun of.

  2. I know this is a really old question but I couldn't find my answer in the official thread. Do the Dry Bones contest jeans shrink to tagged size? Or only an inch and end up measuring an inch bigger then tagged? Some of these fades have been looking awesome. Really wish I got in on it. You have a few 34's left and they might be doable if they shrink to tagged.

  3. Put a nice belt in them to make them stay where you are and you are good to go.

Relaxed is the new slim, remember?

That fit might even be a contestant for the "new pair of okinawa with the least hipflare" contest (not started yet but it's going to pwn)

Yea I definitely like a more relaxed fit then what is par around here but I still like to have a somewhat fitted look in the seat and thighs, with a straight leg, nothing with a tapered look. They just have a ton of room in the thighs.

  4. I'll try but I just have my macbook cam. Or my phone so they aren't going to be too great. They smell really good too lol. The denim is really interesting and unique for sure. It feels heavier then 14oz, more like 16, definitely heavier then I thought they would be. If they were a little lower rise and an little bit slimmer in the thighs they would be the perfect jeans.

  5. ^^^ No I didn't send them back yet. It's sunday...Post office is closed. I think the pics are a little misleading. They don't look as bad as I thought they did yesterday but there really is a ton of room in the thighs.

  6. Ah crap..... Skull's? They're at Seny right? the xx07 cut they do might do the trick. And the Skull denim is tasty

I have some Skulls. I'm actually not that big of a fan of the denim. Don't know why but I think the RJB's are going to be pretty cool.

  7. unfortunately i doubt seny carries any of those brands...

Yea I'm going to try the RJB's but I called them and they had them in stock but the guy was like ummm I dunno how to exchange these and have you pay the difference I'll call you right back. And he never did. So I dunno what's up.

  8. I have a fairly athletic build. I lost a lot of weight in the past few months due to not training because of a motorcycle crash but I've still got some size. I'm 6'1" 185-190. Yea I want a straight fit. Not baggy but not slim. I don't want a real high rise either, but nothing too low. I like the fit of APC Rescues but the denim isn't cutting it. My Momotaro 0201's fit real well too. Something like that is what I'm looking for.

  9. They Raw?? The shrinkage on those is no joke..... They're gonna look huge on you at first if they are.

That being said though..... If they're not your cup of tea, swap 'em out.... don't buckle to interweb peer pressure

Na they are one wash from SE NY. The thing is I can only exchange them for whatever they have in stock at the NY store. I've never had a vintage cut before so I wanted to give it a try. I'm looking at the RJB 105BSP's.

  10. fitted some Momos @ BiG and i suggest to be careful in sizing them.

to break it down : 701's are similar to Samurai s710 fit :: they're sized like the Denime 66xx. i'm a true 33 and would not dare go true on these suckers__ i'd size +2 , but +1 is doable.

201's are close to a 501 '47 cut, so don't expect textbook slim fit on these :: measurements matched my SC40400N :: . you can go slim-mer by going true__ personally, i'd size 1 up, but that's just me.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. I have owned 0201's and just got some Okinawa's which are a 47 501 cut and they aren't even close in terms of fit really. The Momo's are lower rise, and much more fitted in the seat and thighs. The leg opening is slightly smaller as well.

  11. My Okinawas came in and they are not what I was expecting at all. They look pretty bad on me. The denim is really cool but there's way more room in the thighs then I thought there would be. Either going to put them in the Supermarket or find something at SE NY that I would exchange for.

  12. yeah I know what you mean, and I'm not really after a very tapered fit.

I think most SE collabs have this misconception of them being "very slim" because of the sidneylo fit pics. He probably wore the smallest size that he can fit in.

Look at the difference between the two fit pics

    SE / sidneylo versus denimbar

I had no idea Denimbar carried these. I wanted a pair of them for a while and thought only SE and Farinelli's had them and they didn't have my size when I wanted to get them. DB has them and I just ordered some Okinawas 2 days ago. That's pretty beat.

  13. Crappy pics but I'm pretty psyched about this. Pictures don't do it justice. It's such a solid well built piece. I don't know how they sell it for what they do. I'm looking for a cool NATO band to put on it. Good size too at 44mm. Big enough to stand out but not so big that it looks tacky.

  14. I'm pretty sure hamiltons are great watch,,,,but I'd rather buy seiko kinetics for some reason. seiko velaturas are dope

I'm getting the officer chrono instead. I'm getting it 20% off at a local dealer. These things look so good in person. I'd honestly rather have it over a Rolex and it's a fraction of the price. I think I'm going to put a NATO bond strap on it too and it'll look pretty rugged. I'll post up pics later.
