  2. n00b question:

one or two sizes down on the 5000bk? There's been quite a bit of debate about it so I figured I'd ask again for those w/ experience. I'm looking for a nice slim fit, so I'm leaning towards two to account for stretching...

    Thoughts?

  3. guys..a heads up..some of the S/S stuff is on sale..

    mesh contructred are $38

Are those the sorta-looks-like-mesh pocket tees? Those looked sweet, and now seem(somewhat) more reasonably priced

  4. Oni Denim Red vs Imperial Black King Raw Black Selvage?

    Compare and contrast?

I'll help since I've had both of them.

True to size kings were a nice relaxed fit, not too huge in the thighs, but with room to breathe. The straight, high-ish rise my favorite part as it made them a very versatile cut, good for wearing high or low (since I sag like whoaa). The denim was nice, a bit streaky, and a slightly lighter almost greyish colored black. Fading was really hard to get and after I sold them at almost 5 months there was little to show.

I also had a pair of Oni Reds, sized one down, and they were still a bit too baggy for my taste. A lot of room in the thighs and a large leg opening, almost billowy. Also, the higher rise wasn't completely straight like the kings, meaning that wearing them low resulted in a fair bit of hip flare and a somewhat "dumpy" seat. However, Oni denim is some of the most ridiculous you'll find...super super slubby and really deep in color.

If you like a more traditional, higher rise, roomy cut, go for the Onis. If you're looking for something a bit more modern, but still relaxed get the kings. The black denim is nice, but the super slubs of the reds make for a very unique jean.

  5. So after about a month and a half of waiting for my SExIH to stretch to the perfect fit, they're just a touch too slim for my liking. Ideally, I'd like to trade up to a size 33, but finding a pair seems unlikely seeing as how they're sold out. Is there anyone who regrets not sizing down to a 32 that'd be interested in a trade?

Since I've worn mine (lightly) for about a month and a half I'd throw some money on top for the trade. Combs have formed, there's some wallet fade, and the very beginning of whiskers

I'd also possibly consider even selling if the offer was high enough.

Here are some fit pictures for reference. I'm normally a size 32 waist, but these began as a 30.8 (now stretched roughly to a 33x35)
