  1. You guys know of any good tailors in town? I'm specifically thinking about getting a coat made slimmer, but a recommendation in general would be really handy.

^^ Looking to get some denim tailored too, really appreciated.

  2. just wondering if anyone knew a place i could get etnia barcelona eyewear online...found a few auctions on ebay but would like some more selection.

I'm hoping someone has seen them online too. Anyone have any leads?

  3. too expensive.. and they dont have the red tab and the artcuates...

I'm too new to the S5000VX to comment on stretching, but so far I would recommend buying on the slimmer end of what you wear. All my jeans and pants range from 30 -32; I have the S5000VXs in 30 and they fit well. If you have slim thighs/seat for your waist (I certainly don't), you might want to go another size down, I'd think. This is after the second warm/hot soak; what some have said about them seeming to shrink more with additional soaks seems to be true in my experience.

And yeah, there's a thread on these already. Merge?

  4. I'd just like to say that these jeans are the shit.

I'm not sure what my true waist is exactly, but let's put it this way; the jeans I had previously, were all between w30-32. My pair of w30's, post 1 soak, just days after I've had them, fit pretty much perfectly. I didn't do any hanger trick, just soaked them in the tub and hung to dry-- the waist is actually not that small, I don't think, and it seems to stretch pretty easily-- I sag my jeans down to around the hip somewhere, and it's fitting fine i. I actually hope they don't stretch whatsover in both leg and waist, but that's probably a futile hope.

If it's at all helpful, I'm about 5'10, 165lb, work out a decent amount, so I don't exactly have the SuFu build. I agree with those who say it's not that slim of a cut, although it's certainly not... unslim. I think it's a great fit for those of us who, say, could pull off Ralfs but not Slim Jims.

Edit: I think this is one of those "they're just pants" moments, but I am starting to think I should've gone for w29's to accomodate for stretching.

  5. Black/dark grey Fruit of the Loom stretch boxer briefs-- mostly cotton, with some lycra in them or something. Really comfortable, fitted without the tightness of a brief, great silhouette.
