  1. I especially liked this one;

"I was not trying to pretend I am some super-manly blue collar guy. I was simply trying to explain that I am not a metrosexual fashion boy. I am a fairly normal man. I like sports, I like yard work and I drive a truck."

I guess I have to go trade in my Audi because I don't feel like a true Manly man anymore....lol Truck it is! Ford! Diesel. Or wait, maybe a Hemi....yea, that's it!

  2. Okay, so after reading the superdenim forum for a few months I am going to ask the question; What is everyone's favorite denim they own?? List the name, make, model, etc and the reason you like it so much.

My favorite jeans right now are my APC New Standards. I don't think I have owned a pair of jeans that fits this good in quite some time. Everything about them seems really nice to me, plus they have shown some good wear in only the 2 weeks of owning them. I have worn them every day almost all day since buying them and when I went back to the store I bought them from (to buy some 1947 LVCs), the same guy who helped me when I bought the APCs could already tell a difference.

So far my collection is very limited in comparison to others on this board, but I must say, I am hooked!

So what is your favorite? :)

  3. May be a dumb question, but is "low hip" on the BiG website's measurements the same as thigh?

I would assume "low hip" means the area in which it goes around your butt maybe.. I doubt anything with "hip" in it has to do with the thigh.

  4. i think we all need to realise that people have different tastes when it comes to clothing, and basically everything else as well

theres no right and wrong, its just a matter of perspective

and like i said before, if u can afford them and they look good on u, buy them, if not, spend ur money as where on something that fits u best

and whether the jeans fade better or not, its again up to the individual, how they wear their jeans and how the jeans fit on them

so if possible, can we post some pics of the worn diors here...?

    Great post.

What some people perceive as over priced and quality lacking, others may think the exact opposite. I know there are a bunch of people who probably think sites like this are crazy and more than $50 for denim is outrageous. I'd say we're all pretty lucky to even consider a $300 pair of jeans, let alone be able to discuss them as common occurance. I would agree that everyone differs with fashion and that in itself is the greatest part!

I know damn well that without this site I wouldn't know half the stuff I know now about denim than if I had not found this place at all.

Mike, thanks for all the answers bro, it really helps a lot. I know some of them get repetitive especially when comparing one denim to the other, but I guess that's bound to happen on these forums from time to time. :)

Skinny, average, overweight, whatever...wear what you feel good in and can express yourself in.

  5. I think girls also like the added stretch in typical designer jeans so they can get them extremely tight. The fact that tight raw selvedge jeans will stretch I think makes it so women aren't very interested in them. Dependant upon your size you may be able to get a really small size in mens selvedge denim.

  6. you pretty much need to get an unlock progy for the phones. the thing about dynamism is the price. they'll roll you for about a 20% mark up for their asia or europe only gear. also, make sure they have an english OS...unless you know japanese, that is.

Yea there are much better sites offering unlocked phones for cheaper prices.
