I am fucking up over the place. I had this nice entry level attorney gig at a boutique law firm, but I traded it to work on this start up. Shit was supposed to be up around October of last year, but it doesn't look like it'll be coming together to sometime in February.

What makes me laugh about Lanvin is that the label was absolute shit from a "marketing and hype" perspective from as early as 2001 and basically aside from the higher end couture would license their name ala Pierre Cardin to whoever and whatever, such that it was never on the same level as Gucci, Prada, et al. It was only in the last few years, they pulled a "Burberry" and bought back all their licensing agreements, upped-their price points, re-branded their image, etc. They basically did a very good Gucci/Burberry turn-around. The current young-school boy Lanvin aesthetic doesn't really appeal to me but that's a personal preference.

How does the winter stuff do at Supreme LA anyway? I can't imagine theres a big draw for down jackets when it's constantly 75 degrees out. Do they have bigger clearance sales come end of December?

About two years back you could expect all sizes and colors come late January and February to be on sale, but starting last year the stock has been really slim. In Feb of 2006 I was able to get thermal hoodies at $108, and their were moleskin m65s marked down to 228 from 348 (not sure of exact numbers). This year there were some of the treebark thermals in scattered sizes, and same went for jackets and coats.

Got a Pamer Carbon Centric. The 158 is a little small for me. I realize I really don't do parks and jumps any more and just like to bomb mountains. The Palmer is much better for that.

Burton Inspiration in 158 cm. The Burton Inspiration is a Custom that was made for the Japanese market. It has identical specs, but just a different name. This is the most forgiving board I have ever ridden. Perfect for the beginner, or an advanced rider. I took it out for one day on Mammoth. It has 3 light cosmetic scratches, but the edges are perfect, and the wax is buttery. I tried to photograph the scratches, but they are so light it might not come out. No gouges or deep scratches to worry about. Comes with Cartel bindings in large. Custom Retail is $500, and Cartels cost $209. With tax this set up is north of $700. Supreme Deck Jacket - Military Spec Supreme Deck Jacket in XL. It fits more like a large, but it fits perfectly when you use it as an outer layer with a hoody. Purchased from Supreme New York about three years back. Check the OG Supreme Mil-Spec tag. Never washed, and in terrific condition. The tayloring on this is great. The cut on it is high quality.
