My 1105's came yesterday. After a quick wash and line dry they fit perfect, shrinks down exactly to tag size. Had Kiya hem them so length is good, probably shrank only 2" not 3" at the inseam, but I imagine after another couple washes it will lose that last inch. Great jean, love the course/uneven denim which isnt as rough and burlap-y as PBJ which I didnt care for.

was in MF over the weekend, seemed like they restocked a lot of stuff as far as having all sizes. Picked up the off white Breezer jacket which is pretty rad, like an overdesigned harrington. The fabric is woven so it's cotton on the outer and rayon on the inner, so it almost feels like it has a lining. Great details and the tartan cloth is deadstock 50s material.

Me and the Mrs will be at Viva again, I think we've gone for 10 years in a row now.
I love RAB music, I was really heavily into it during the mid 90s to early 2000s, as it was unofficially the "skinhead retirement plan" back then. (maybe still is?)
Looking forward to seeing the Go Getters again this year. They always put on the best shows.
yea the RAB scene has a lot of sub-tribes within it. Some guys are more into the cars, others are more into the vintage clothes (hepcats), others are into the 50s pop culture aspect, and plenty more just like the image associated with it but arent necessarily as hardcore. The old RAB forums always had arguments of being "more rockabilly than you" which got really tiring since everyone was simultaneously correct in one aspect, and totally full of shit on another.
anyways, Viva will be great, it's our chance to meet up with out of state friends we rarely see otherwise.

thanks....I generally wear a 20" armpit shirt, the few i have that are 19" I find a bit too snug. I'm gonna try and check out that shirt locally (it's at Fred Segal LA) and if it fits me, and if your shirt is still for sale at that time, I'll hit you up again.

hmmm I'd be interested
Can you give me an armpit-armpit and across stomach measurement?

was there any difference in the materials or way the fred perry stuff was cut in the cdg collab? i always thought it was just one of those random collabs to mark up stuff at designer prices.
imo, it's mostly overpriced. some of the designs are cool, but 3x as cool? prolly not. The cut isnt different. I have 2 FPxCDG sweaters, and they happen to be 2 of my fave sweaters but at full price I'd pass. The best FP gear I have is the 'Made in Italy' stuff, not the CDG collab. at least they're not putting the letters "CDG" underneath the laurel anymore, which they used to.

I like buttondown shirts, or polos. tshirts are common too, but not my cuppa

I'm at least 10 years older than most posters here and I'm still wearing mostly what I would have answered 10 years ago. It's a weird thought to grow older on a message board, but maybe there'll be a "what did you wear 10 years ago that you dont now" thread in ten years. I wonder if anyone'll still be wearing dunks when he's 10 years older than now
