  1. Do you go to UW? because it pretty much sounds like you do. especially the Northface+sevens+A&F, its pretty much the uniform here, male or female.

God damn UW kids dress so horribly. It really is depressing how much this city doesn't give two shits about how people dress. I see MAYBE 3 or 4 kids around campus a week that have some sort of non-A&F/Seven/Northface clothing on. It's ridiculous.

So, uhhh, yea I guess I'm a fashion snob :P

  2. Spruce yellow zip hoodie $80

Size L hoodie, but fits like an XL. Riri zip with black detail, double lined hood, thermal lined body, hidden pockets, printed Spruce logo, faint square detail on the chest, overall awesome details with that sweet sweet Spruce quality.

  4. I was up there first thing on Friday, and was a little disappointed in the selection. I did pick up a sweet scarf though, and some nice Ts.

On a second note, a bunch of people who wanted me to pick stuff up for them ended up not liking what I got due to sizing, so I'll probably be throwing some stuff up on supermarket once I get a decent camera (for not insane prices).

  5. Most of it has already been said, but...

-A lot of the touristy stuff is pretty fun (Victoria peak, Ave. of the stars with the laser show, etc)

-Get an octopus card first thing when you get there

-I've heard that staying in Kowloon can get really noisy at night, so you might want to say on HK island.

    -HK is pretty damn safe

  6. BBQ Stingray - Newton in Singapore

Nasi Kandar - Hawkers in Penang, Malaysia

Spicy beef gyro - Zaina in Seattle

Sichuan hotpot - crazy gigantic restaurant in Xian, China

Hot sopressata sandwich with gorgonzola - Salumi in Seattle

Pizza margherita - Pizzeria Pompei in Perugia, Italy

Shit man, so much good food...

You know what, the rest of my 10 go to assorted Malaysian hawker foods. Highest concentration of awesome food in the world...

  7. Yeah, I think this stuff is legit. It seems like an online store that sells other brands too, e.g. HeM, Manhattan Portage (?), etc. But it looks pretty real. You don't really see a lot of Porter fakes here in Japan.

Its a HK site though (trying to look like a Japanese site), which makes me a little nervous. Everything seems to check out, but it is weird that it looks so similar to the official site.

  8. Yep, wholesalers are where its at in Guangzhou. The main drag is kinda fun too, but not really great shopping, you have to hunt. If you want shopping, just take the train to HK, only a few hours away.

  9. In no particular order:

prague, budapest, krakow, istanbul (even though it's not technically Europe, you should go there), belgrade, rome, london, dubrovnik.

Also, it doesn't count as a city, but don't miss small towns in central Italy.

Also, to the person/people saying Bucharest, what about it did you like? Most people that I've talked to say that its one of the slummier cities in Europe (though it apparently has fantastic nightlife, oh eastern Europe)

  10. If you want something on the more expensive end (around $75 USD when booked off travel websites), you could try the Cosmo. The rooms are really nice (a bit small, but very nice), the location is great (5 minute walk from MTR/Times square), and the service is very good.

Also, the Cosmo and Cosmopolitan are 2 different hotels with the same owner. The Cosmopolitan is classier and more expensive, the Cosmo is trendier and less expensive.
