thats a pretty common problem with that sole unit,i believe its the main reason behind the new sole unit on the virgil

head porter plus and soph aslo,and of course isetan shinjuku,all depends what you want though as a lot of the 'best' stuff is fil exclusive so wouldnt be at these doors (bar possibly isetan)

the rear zip is so the jacket (in theory) can be removed easily when seated ie when driving, granted its not a everyday design use but thats its purpose.

the ones coming out I believe are simular to the ones posted above in that they are the proshell versions with recco and snowskirt etc, I think rrp is something just over 100k

visvim ones are good but agree are expensive because of the strong yen FIL scent is a good room filler, I have mint on the go at the minute and its not as strong so its not one I would buy again,we always tend to have a mix of visvim and dyptyque on the go in the studio,I find both these fill a room better than any of the cdg ones I have used.

Stephen I am looking to just proxy some High Water Chinos...not the Virgils posted about....any help on that? I have a proxy service but can't do pick ups at FIL's cause he is not close to any but will cop from online retailers in JPN unless FIL's do phone orders?

sorry,I mistook that for something else,my knowledge of jp online stores is pretty slim i haven't used them to buy visvim,I always use FIL or yjp pretty sure FIL wont do any kind of mail order, although instore they are very helpfull and often will search the other stores incase a product is available and get it transfered,obviously this is only really helpfull if you are physically at the store/in tokyo

they are visvim store exclusive so will not be sold at any retailers other than visvim FIL stores so your only option to buy is using yahoo jp through a proxy

I imagine it will be way more expensive in tokyo as generally euro imported products are very expensive there

by made to order, I mean a full bespoke so your foot is measured etc and the shoe made especially for you I believe the foleys were in cordovan I'm not sure if it was lace up or velcro model but I think it was the lace up version, serious luxuary
