  1. Well, it's called a mosaic. It's 94 pictures made to look like one big picture. I actually found a program that does these things. http://www.andreaplanet.com/andreamosaic/

Pretty easy if you follow directions. :D

    A mosaic, no way! haha

I was actually just wondering if you used specific pictures, or if the pictures you used had some sort of special story or something behind them. Anyway, I'll check the site out. Thanks for the link.

  2. was the shape different too? i've never seen such a low toebox / slim profile on a desert boot.

The tox box is a bit slimmer on my pair too. I'm not sure if it's a different leather or what, but the toe definitely doesn't have the roundness like other pairs that I've seen worn in.

  3. look like DBs...crepe sole. Maybe vintage?

Not vintage, I have the same pair. Pretty sure they were a Europe only release, as I got them from asos. Really great hue of brown imo.

  4. The uppers are okay, but I have never been a fan of those clunky white soles on any shoes. Maybe on smaller guys they work(I still am not fan), but a size 13 in those would look gigantic.

I like them, but I agree about the soles looking too clunky on larger feet. I am a size 12, and definitely worry about the overall boot size when making a purchase. Hopefully they'll get produced and some good fit photos will pop up before making any decisions. I will say that I feel these boots don't have quite the staying power of the classic Indy boot.

  5. If the chest/shoulders were a bit bigger, I would cop this instantly. Really nice looking peace. On that note, I have a L navy MJK shawl collar sweater from last fall that I am trying to sell. Love the softness and quality, unfortunately it's too tight in the arms/chest. (Should have gone with an XL) Keep up the good work man.

  6. I agree about the bulkiness. I have handled the lens, but not shot with it and the size was definitely noticeable, especially on my D80 body. The 2.8 aspect of the 24-70 is what appeals to me too. The 24-120 doesn't appeal to me as I already have the 18-135.

  7. thinkin about getting the nikon 24-70 f/2.8. is it worth the price?

Been wondering the same thing as that would probably be my next lens purchase. Unfortunately I've never had the opportunity to try one out.
