  1. I've put on the unisex cut, called the Skinny.

Its pretty slim, but not super-skinny. Slightly vanity sized; I wear a 28 in almost all dry denim and I would take a 27 in the Skinny.

All of Jean Shop's models are good- Nice Selvage, quality contruction and all are quite accessible from a fit perspective.

  2. ^ How often did you wash her jeans? I'd wana try that but I think my germ-a-phobe of a wife would have a problem with that if they weren't washed frequently lol.

These have been washed about 6 times.

    First wash at 3.5 months.

My wife is a germaphobe as well, but I do the laundry so I win.

Sam she loooks great! Where can I pick up samurai in children's sizes? Looking to buy one for 6-7 year old niephew!

    Here:

    Isla's are the SK0510

Buy them big- they have adjustable waistbands.

  3. These are slim but not skinny, and fit just a touch smaller than the mainline 1980s, so most people will wear their regular dry denim size. If you have really big legs and ass, you may need to size up one.

They will stretch a full size.

  4. Guys-

The Grey is indeed a bit darker then sampled, but not to the extent that these two photos would seem to indicate.

The first photo has definitely been color-corrected to accentuate the Grey, and our pics are a bit darker than we had intended, so they appear to be more similar than they are.

Rest assured, these are unmistakably grey.

  5. I wear 28 in almost all dry denim, and I have 29s in the Straight which are one size too big. Should have gotten 28s.

I have 27 in the slim which are perfect.

You definitely need to size down at least one for the slims as the waist is cut a size big to accomodate the lower rise.

Anyone who claims this denim doesn't stretch much not have worn them enough. Both of mine have stretched at least a size.

  6. ratatat - Brisbane (28) November

aramyr - Tri Cities, WA (28) December

Diamonds - Victoria BC (28) January

    Joeyformal - PhillyxDC (29) February

    heartworm - Denmark (29) March

    386 - Tennessee (29) April

dino might! - Orlando (30) May

    sam113 - America's Dairyland (28) June

remaining schedule. did ratatat get these late or has he been doing a bit of bogarding?

    We've been gradually falling behind.

If each playa has the jeans for 30 days and shipping takes 5-6 days, then we fall a week behind each month.

That being said- ole Ratatat has had them a few days too long.

I know how great the jeans are, Ratatat, but if you love something let it go.

  7. may you give measurements in them and your true to waist? because im a 28 true but i have skinny legs, i have 28 in rockers and i really want these but dunno if these would be a bit big on me, and since they only have 28/32 in which my legs are 34

I also wear the Rocker in 28, and 28 is my size in the 1980 Blacks.

They will not be big on you, if anything they fit a bit smaller in the top block.

The inseams are true, so if you are a true 34 leg the 28/32s might end up short.

  8. ^^^

    1. The 1980 is a slimmer cut then the 1950 AWA, and the Black/Blacks fit a touch more slim than the mainline 1980, so I'm thinking 29/32 is your size.

    2. The dye used on these is charcoal based rather than sulphur based. We are in the process of contacting the guy who did the dyeing to find out about saturation.

    3. 28/32 measurements: Waist 28, Thigh 10.75, Knee 7.5, Hem 7.5 Rise 9.5, Inseam 32.

    4. They are Sanforized, so shrink will be minimal.

    5. Raw and as rigid a fabric as I've come across. these things are stiff.

Response to these has been awesome.

Thanks to all who got a pair- we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Feel free to hit me up with any other questions.
