I'd keep that Propane tank away from that circular saw-
Although explosion fades would be killer (no pun intended).

Very nice- now continue to pound on them.
The more damage the better.

Looking great.

This was all I could find as far as a schedule for these and it looks like we're quite a bit off schedule. June was supposed to be the last month!
Anyways, I'm looking forward to these someday.
We have had a few minor glitches, but Thorns will get us back on track.
Right?
Thorns?
Pics?

^This is a good analysis. I'm gonna assume that most people are too young to remember how much SCIENCE rocked. I was a Junior in HS in 1998 when I first saw them open for 311, Sugar Ray and Jimmy's Chicken shack. They went on first and blew the place away. My problem with them is they 'jumped the shark' with their next album. Band are supposed to get better and progress not digress and suck balls...
Or too old...

Thorns it is, then.
And stop that moping.
There is still plenty of time to beat these jeans up- the Skrawnies shall not quit.

Probably ought to send them on to heartworm, then.

So i read eairler that imperial changed the denim of there dukes, so are they still just as nice or are they a lower quality?
I am not aware of any change in the fabric.
We've been carrying them for 2 years and the only thing that has changed is the size of the back pockets on smaller sizes and the patch design.

Marshal-
I did a warm water long cycle wash.
Brissboy-
No starch.
I missed 4 days in 15+ months.

You've seen these already a month ago, but I decided to wash them so here they are before:
And after.
I preferred them before the wash, so I'm gonna pound on them for another few months to get that filthiness back.

Very nice, Joey.
Thanks for the update.
Now pound the shit out of them.

thanks for the great info, so does the rinsed version have any less fading capabilities outside of the fact that it's had one(?) rinse/wash?
Other than the fact that black dyes tend to be slower to fade than indigo, no.

okay great, as long as another person thinks so. only thing is, arent apc's sanforized, yet they're very rigid?
APCs are indeed Sanforized, as are Imperial. Both are starched.
APCs tend to be a bit more rigid than raw black Imperials.
Your pair might be the rinsed version, which is softer than the raw.
All of the raw blacks that we have had at CONTEXT were pretty rigid when new.
Not quite as rigid as the Indigos, but rigid nonetheless.

has Sam soaked his Dukes? if so, how many times?
Never touched water.

+1 on the wash and some after wash pics.
i've asked this before but.. i wanted some more feedback. my size 27 diors have stretched perfectly. would a 28 (after the uncomfortable first wears) be a good enough fit for the dukes/shearers. does imperial even have anything smaller than 28? thanks
Imperial does not make sizes below 28.
My Dukes are size 28, and I wear 19cm MIJs in size 28.
The Dukes were as tight a jean (at the hip) as I have put on- more so than the Diors.
Hope this helps.

Sam113 has not washed them after one year of daily wear. Should he wash them? He keeps telling me he's not going to wash them, and I keep begging him to. I want him to give them a good wash and wear them for a few months after the wash, then retire them to the Context Denim Hall of Fame, but he doesn't care what I want. I need some advice from SUFU.
Fixed for you, Ryan.

The Trench Hood fits slightly big- perfect for wearing over a layer thicker than a T shirt.
KMW is releasing a black version of the Rocker (raw and rinsed) for Spring '09, but its a different denim than our collab 1980- a bit lighter weight and not nearly as rigid.
The topstich will not be black, but gray- giving the jean more contrast.
