Nice collection. All I have is a Nudie Conny (not Type 3, I know), and just that one is taking a long time to break in. I can't imagine how long five would take. You should probably trade/sell/give one or two to me in order to make the process easier on yourself.

The best pairs I can recall from memory in this thread have been New Standards, Evisus, and SDAs.

I think a lot of that has to do with people not having easy access to Japanese stuff pre-xcoldricex/2000db/BiG/Selfedge, so there are more broken in APCs around.

Thigh and lap become a little soft. Everywhere else retains most of the stiffness left before the first wash.

I'd love to, but unfortunately I don't have a camera right now. Looking at mine and comparing to yours though, you've got a lot more fading on the slanty lines down the front of the leg (I have almost no creasage there), but I think I have more lap action. The combs are still anyone's game. The problem is, I think I've had my a pair a little longer, so I need to step up my intensity.

They shrank a considerable amount. To the point where they will be worn solely around the house until they stretch. Kind of wished i had sized up now. Oh well.

I went to the Levi's outlet today and saw probably the ugliest pair of Levis I've ever layed eyes on in my life. Unfortunately (or fortunately..) I can't find a picture of them anywhere.

They were Levi's Premiums on clearance for 29.99 (They were originally marked at $138 or so) and had raised wiskering and honeycombs that were just beyond horrible.

Pretty sure I know the ones you're talking about. The whiskers are like thick and squiggly, right? They have these at the outlet near me, too. I find this crap, and Cheap finds LVCs. There's no justice.

they fit perfectly although im a bit biased considering I wear my diors with the blazers and i cant even pull the leg openings around the shoes when i have those on. Oh yeah, they are a 32 btw.

I think it's tightness that determines the horizontalitude. I've noticed most Nudies and Diors I've seen have the really straight combs, and those tend to be worn tight. Personally, I think the angular looks better.. One of the reasons I wish I'd have gotten a size or two bigger.

Thanks! I ride my bike in them a pretty good amount. Great for wear, but bad for the crotchal area, where there are now two small holes. I'm going easier on them until I get those repaired. No wash yet, and I don't plan on doing so in the near future.
