  1. oh wait, you're so cool for superfuture you continue to post on it. get over yourself. you're about as cool as a 20 year old american stupid enough to convince your parents to pay for your college education in toronto. whoops.

hey maaan. you don't know me! i thought i was the son of some executive who had homes all over the world? am i american? am i canadian? am i japanese? am i estonian? am i mexican? i'm a 50 year old post-op male2female with a wet pussy for bizzy's throbbing cock.

don't get so angry poly800. the internet is make-believe.

superfuture can be a useful resource. superfuture can also be fun for laughs.

  2. um duh, there's no need to qualify the word marine with "douchebag". ride my dick bitch.

nice edit to your post. looks like you took a few classes at community college, ummmmmmmm nice.

he happened to be a marine, and he also happened to be a douchebag. no need to feel ashamed of your father. it just so happens, that many marines are also douchebags.

    my name is iMS btw.

    spread the hate!

  3. um, duh. Of course people develop overly popular/authoritative reputations - the context and content is irrelevant. We are social creatures and take queues on what we think we like from those who went before us. To assume we are even capable of evaluating and judging objectively in a vacuum is nonsense.

The internet focuses this tendency anymore, because the set of characteristics to indicate who is an opinion-maker are very restricted and artificial.

The New York Times had a fine article on this very subject today. Can't find an online link just yet tho...

Uhhhhhh duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nobody cares you took Intro to Sociology at New Jersey Community College. You remind me of this douchebag marine I worked with who only said, "This reminds me of a case study I learned in psychology class" "Oh, this reminds me of a case study I read" "HEY, this case study I read one time"

  4. For a "controversial" thread, the content has been rather tame thus far. This is the internet, not The View.

Cheapmuthafuckr gets the most unwarranted pussy on this forum by far. I don't give a fuck if his whole outfit costs 75 cents, it's still nothin special. This forum is about looking good, not getting the most bang for your buck out of your gov food stamps. His outfits are average joe from the 90s. Plus, his whole dirty, sleazy look doesn't help his image.

Oh, and dont forget Superfuture's most favorite male on male couple:

  5. If a secret forum means the end of cheapmotherfucker, cultpop, poly800, bizzy, and minya, I'm all for it. Anyone concerned about the future of this forum, their postcount, or their online rep should be bound and shipped away. Let the dangerous classes do what they will.

  6. Even though it's a cliche idea of putting a famous icon on a tee shirt. How often do you see Jack Kerouac on a tee shirt?

putting a famous icon on a t-shirt isn't cliche if it's done well. cutting out an image of a famous icon from time magazine and then slapping it on the bottom right-hand corner of a t-shirt is cliche.

  7. japs as in JEWISH AMERICAN PRINCESS

    or japanese folks

im not awfully offended but there may be others who feel so

i'd poke fun at the jews, but they really don't fit into fashion. and, haven't they had it hard enough?

i jest at "teh japs" on this forum mainly to cause a violent reaction. superfuture loves anything japan. they are guilty, however, of wearing ridiculous t-shirts with broken English phrases they can't read, as they tend to obsess over anything american.

"teh japs" are also guilty of pearl harbor! aren't you a red blooded american?! never forget!! and september eleven! never forget our vets! god bless our dead marines! thank god for dead marines!

  8. everybody knows t-shirt design is a joke but this trend of predictably screen printing half-toned photographs of famous figures onto the bottom right-hand corners of t-shirts needs to end. it's forgivable when supreme does it, cause seriously, supreme?

to make the shirt even more cliche, they print a four line inspirational quote on the back. why not scribble the entire lyrics to your favorite fucking song while you're at it.

nom de guerre thanks to blackbird:

$68? hurrah for capitalism. (those Japs will buy anything!)

  9. Los Angeles:

Marc by Marc Jacobs - Last summer they had one of the hottest blonde girls I've ever seen. She resembled a European model. They also had this scary looking tall, gangly gay guy with long hair, tatoos all over his chest, and fucked up teeth -- all characteristics that made him look interesting. I thought he'd be mean, but he turned out to be really nice and down to earth, like a friendly giant.

Hollywood Trading Company - That asian kid Pacman is very approachable. He's always flipping his hair, and always seems high.

    New York:

Seven - They had this awkwardly tall Japanese guy who was so polite and apologetic that he acted like he wanted to commit Seppuku before telling me items were out of stock.

  10. frankly, what i look for in a boutique is mainly what i can walk out with under my jacket. i dont pay for clothing.

Let's hear about your shoplifting adventures.

Like what? Well, what's left in Toronto? TNT, Holt, Delphic, and a few old man places for cashmere ties etc. I've never made it out to Lileo. I've never made any big purchases in Toronto, I wait till I'm in LA or NYC, or simply mail order.

  11. This is the end:

Ransom, Goodfoot, and Nomad are all owned by the same people, all attached to each other, and all hypebeasty. Nomad carries few products of quality. Despite all these shortcomings, Superfuture loves Nomad.

    No surprise.

  12. Again, Nomad should neither be defended nor praised.

They carry APC denim and one black sweater, so fucking what? They carry a Wings & Horns sweater, so fucking what, they're a Canadian boutique! The rest of the shit is usually gross. Nom de Guerre is boring and greatly overpriced for the quality. Engineered Garments is gross. There are only 20 items in the store at once for Christ-sakes!

As others have pointed out, there are a number of other decent boutiques in Toronto. I criticize Nomad so highly because the Superfuture/hypebeast crowd treats it as “Toronto’s only savior!!!â€.

Nomad is nothing special. The owners of Nomad also own Ransom and Goodfoot. Ransom is completely bad, Goodfoot is bad, and Nomad is half bad. I don’t care if Zeb is a nice guy, the owners are guilty of furthering bad fashion.

calling Nomad a "flagship BAPE store" is silly. with some exceptions, that store's largely hypebeast-free.

Ransom is worse than a flagship Bape store. Just because the owners install a small partition to make their clientele feel special does not exclude Nomad from blame.

Let’s start hearing about other boutiques in Toronto more. I don’t give a fuck if Nomad + Goodfoot are throwing a b-boy party for the release of a new pair of Dunks. Nomad deserves blame not praise. Plenty of other boutiques are better than Nomad.

  13. I'd just like to emphasize what other's have said. Being a Los Angeles native, you cannot get around Los Angeles without a car, nor without knowledge of the area.

Don't overlook Canada, the South, and Mexico.

Montreal is a fantastic place, more charming than San Francisco (you don't need to speak French). Toronto is better than most American cities. Vancouver might be interesting to checkout.

Places in the south like New Orleans or Memphis will be radically different than the rest of the US. New Orleans is beautiful (or was?).

Also, Mexico will provide a radically different experience than the rest of North America.

If I were you, I'd want to vist places that are different than each other.
