  1. Sometimes, shopping in SG is such a sianzational thing. Prices keep sky-rocketing, but quality of products & services are not. Then, there's the led-by-the-nose, or trend-following shit. Few wonders why we are falling behind in the creative department & people are moving away ..... I'd rather Evisu, Nudie, APC & LVC never came to our shores ......

Ok, I think I'm drifting away from the thread ..... icon_smile.gif

So who has checked out Nudie & APC at Ann Siang Hill? How many of you wearing Evisu already?

  2. hi script,

I saw a few models of LVC at the Levi's boutique at Raffles City SC, and then a couple more at the Tangs Levi's corner. They are the recent make. Not bad lah. S$300 for the 1947 repro. I paid S$400 for the same one from Scotland's Hanon Shop about 3 weeks before I saw them in SG. Bang balls!

As for Edwin, I don't think we have them here either, but I hope I'm wrong. Have seen people wearing them & then a kid wearing the model with a 'W' yoke. Wah ...... if Edwin's here, I also want to grap a pair ....... hopefully a pair with the rainbow selvedge. icon_smile.gif

    shopping again ah?

next month can or not? now broke already leh ...... icon_smile.gif

But seriously, I don't mind to consolidate orders. I'm sure we can save some cash on shipping.

Feb VPost got UOB 10% discount on shipping ...... HOWEVER, this VPost also damn koo koo, orders over S$400 charge GST ..... $@#%^%$&^# ......

So we must make small multiple orders in a few shippings ..... Back to Sq 1, hence, for expensive jeans that cost more than 26,000 Yen, you guys might as well order them individually ....

In a few days, I'll be doing justiz2 some screen-dumps to demo on how to go about placing orders in rakuten, so those of you, once you get your vPost ids ready, can email me I send them to you. Hope they will help.

  4. no worries about wearing dry denim here in SG, just enjoy them!

Yah, invert them under the sun for a couple of hours. A female colleague of mine doesn't wash her jeans for a year !!!

I just bought a 17 Oz Samurai and when my friend recieve them for me in Tokyo, he nearly fainted ! icon_smile_big.gif

  6. Hi Justiz2 & Noddy,

If you are in SG, use VPost. There's demo in VPost to tell you how you should go about shopping using Rakuten. It's not that difficult, but VERY addictive once you get the hang of it! I'm almost broke from shopping for all the good things that SG has missed out ..... Nice to find kakis here .... icon_smile.gif.

I happen to have a copy of Evisu Style Magazine 2005. Inside, there are a number of authorised retailers also listed in Rakuten, so some of these shops are pretty safe.

    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/rogues

    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/hinoya

    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/d-stock

    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/fukuraku

    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/earthmarket

    Check it out.

  7. Hi fellas,

I suggest, if you're looking at Evisu & Sugarcane in Singapore, search www.rakuten.co.jp & get them from one of the authorise retailers online instead.

Redwolves sells Evisu at way jacked-up prices & Sugarcane, as far as I know, is not here yet. I thought the RMCs there are priced ridiculously too.

Sign up for a vPost account & shop away man!

I bought my Sugarcanes SC40500 (my bro bought SC40301), Evisu No.2 Lot. 2000 & Samurai S0110XJ from Rakuten. Shipping within Japan is free (& f**king fast & efficient). Shipping from Japan to SG is less than S$25.

Anyway, far better deal than shopping at Redwolves.

But the A.P.C. sounds reasonable at Front Row though ..... think I'm gonna check them out ...... icon_smile.gif

  8. Hi all kind souls,

    www.grandism.com / www.atticclothing.com / www.norsestore.com have sold out my required size.

www.royalcheese.com is in french and unreasonably expensive, I don't think they'll even ship to Singapore.

    :(

If you've got a pair to let, or if you know any other reliable sources (web-shops etc.) that will ship to Singapore, or the US, please let me know.

    I'll be very grateful.

    Thanks very much.

P.S. If you know where I can get it in Singapore, I don't know how to thank you ...... :)

  9. Hello everybody,

I've just recieved my Levi's LVC 1947 501xx this morning from Hanon-shop.com in Scotland.

Thing is, the top button is blank, and the slevedge is also very very narrow, but the label inside states that it's Made In USA. The rest of the features are, from what I can see, as usual.

This piece doesn't seem to fully fit any of the other descriptions of 1947 LVCs mentioned in this forum, so I'm wondering if I've bought a valuable piece.

Anyone care to show me the lights?

Thanks very much in advance. :) Nic.
