  1. Hmmmmm.......... so the heaviest denim in town now stands at 17oz.......

Is anyone insane enough to better that???

Hey Lek.......... lets do this............. why don't you head down to the fertility clinic and do a sperm count..... wear the 17 oz for a year and do another spermcount ( post results hee hee)....

Come on Lek........ you can help us to either proof or dedunk the notion that heavy/ skinny jeans, coupled with our weather kills sperm...... Lek pls dun be offended... this is meant as a joke..... but it would really be a bonus if you really do it :)

Have a good weekend fellas......... Cheers..

good idea skcusdog, but I think I'm too lazy to do that.

no offence taken, no worries. :)

17oz is not too bad for people like me who spend a lot of time indoors. For younger chaps who skates and do outdoor activities often, I wouldn't recommend it. In the end, it must make practical sense, not blindly following trends, if you get what I mean .....

  2. i think if there's anyone who might have a pair of 21oz. denim, it would have to be lek - that guy has something like fifteen pairs (?)

has anyone seen a pair of well-worn jeans worn by someone local? i think it's near-impossible considering our climate...i tried my best with my APCs.

Hey dudes, sorry, been away for a while. Thanks TIP, but the heaviest I got are the S0110XJ I am currently wearing. 17oz. Wore them on my super crash trip to Ueno last Sunday. At 4-6 degree C, they're pretty ok. For home weather, they sure take some getting used to. :)

As you know, I only wear jeans over the weekend, so they may take a while ..... :)

Oh, by the way, because of the weather, you guys may want to wash your babies. I recommend the coconut base washing liquid by Fullcount. Very Very Very minimal indigo loss.

  3. branding and pieces of histories are what they have left, imo, so Levi's have to protect them.

denim? they are either shit or over-priced.

    i don't think i'll wear any Levi's in a looooonnnnngggggg while .......

  4. when i went to collect my KY at IZE, the guy showed me 2 models. A more 'normal' metal frame design cost SGD 400+ (sorry I can't remember exactly coz I wasn't very impressed). The other one, with exchangeable leather wraps on the temples was SGD 489. Quite impressive, pretty loud, definitely unique, and supergay! (sorry ....)

  5. Hey Lek, could you tell me which shops stock Less Than Human in Singapore? Thank you!

IZE at basement 2 Wisma Atria. If memory serve, I saw some at Raffles City basement (an optical shop at the new marketplace) and Tampines Central (Universal at Century Square, I think.) :)

  6. yesh, bros, received the newsletter last night. Patience, where'd you get the 1969? Very good price man! There's a raw str8 fit model on www.gap.com now at USD69.00. I hope it'll go down some more. From what I see for the normal ones, I hope to get a pair of the selvedge ..... :)

A bit of a sianzation seeing Timberland selvedge today ..... :(

  7. hahahhahaa ..... :D

By the way, saw some Gap jeans at the new Centerpoint Store just now. No selvedge, but pretty nice denim no less. Selvedge jeans was spotted at the Timberland store on the ground floor, under their 'Limited' label !!! S$210 bucks. So-so only. I actual prefer the Gaps! yiHan, go rob the bank and get APC NS, baby!!!! :D

  8. Dudes, Front Row's celebrating birthday tomorrow (07 Dec), there will be a 15% discount off ALL A.P.C. raw and vintage denim. A minimum spending of S$50 lands you a free gift (donno what). For those aiming for NS, looks like a good time to pull the trigger. Be there early. :)

  9. yeah, the freezer trick didn't make sense to me, so I didn't consider it. The dry cleaner here said dry cleaning will not kill the smell either, I have to wash them (again!?). I'm doing a hot wash at the moment. If this fail, I'll give the vinegar idea a try (makes more sense to me) .....

  10. nope bro, couldn't bring anything liquid onto the plane (United Airlines), and I threw my t-shirts away everyday. I like to bring my old and worn t-shirts on my trip, then bought another couple of new ones. No food as well, they were in my sister's lugguage ......
