I was in the same boat when looking for a jacket. I was swimming in the a-stars stuff and could never find decent sizes local so I bought a rs-taichi jacket. it's a bit more than your price range but it's leather and perforated with the liner/elbow/back padding. arms fit nice for the taller folks.

Gold is a waste and only for people who think shtf any moment. I mostly look into mutual funds but my options are limited as it's a 403b and 529 contribution. china has been a good benefit to that for the past 2 weeks as everything tanked. Uranium looks good but the dividend wasn't as good when the japan quake hit. So far china and India look like they will be good investments.

Word! The bar had a vintage bottle sale. They had Rodenbach 08 for 15 and consecration for 25. It made more sense to get RR than the Rodenbach.

A local bar had a bottle of batch 001 consecration so the wife and I decided to splurge and ended up buying it. That was one good beer, I'm guessing they never made 750s after that. Finished the night with a couple IPAs and now my taste buds are shot. I knew garlic fries were a bad idea.

Just picked this up for $1000. Put in a new battery, new sparkplugs, fresh gas but she won't start up. One of the carburetor diaphragms has a tear in it as well $100 for a new one. Checking the fuel pump tomorrow.

Came with the stock front wheel, track fairing (no headlights or signals), stock seat, and rear stand. The tires are brand new and you can see a visible seam on the center of the rear

suck. I was watching one for a while. owner kept trying to sell for 2k for a year and I kept telling him he'd never get that amount. I offered 1k for it and he kept declining. after a few months of declining, he emailed me back. occasionally see him riding it around town and I'm waiting for him to post it again.

depends.. what kind of returns are you looking for? you can be aggressive and day trade or think long term.

like, into a small business, or in stocks/bonds/etc? I know nothing about investing in equities, etc. Maybe a CD? Like 5%? Not sure...

i wouldn't bother with CDs' unless you had a good amount to tier. Mutual Funds look a bit more appealing now.
