Im thinking of getting a fox done because that kind of represents me. Has anyone ever seen any half decent fox tattoos? Ive been having a search but havn't come across anything that doesnt look stupid.
Why not ask the tattoo artist to sketch something up rather than rip off someone else's work? If the artist is any good they should be able to design something closer to what you want.

i don't know how to judge this thing for trading... i think most people are asking for dark lord, chocolate rain.. i mostly want sours and wild ales so im not sure where to start.. i got a nice offer of jackie o's and doubles of each.

well it was the left over barrels from their original release of the beer 2 years ago. it was a charity beer release of 544 bottles. I think I'm going to trade it.

the problem I have now is that every IPA taste like a pale ale. mostly notice this issue with bottled beers.

Thank you all for the replies, really appreciate it.
At the risk of sounding like a poser, I'm more into the style of the Monster than it being a Ducati. I've read and heard everywhere the SVs are a better option overall. I also don't think they sound as good as the Monsters. The SVs sound more crotch-rockety, if that makes sense.
Another bike I've considered is the Buell xb9sx. I love the looks of that bike too and to me they also sound pretty badass. Anyone know if that may be a better option than the Monster?
I do want to keep my overall bike expenses to a minimum and I realize the Ducati (and maybe even the Buell) wouldn't be the best approach but I can't get over the look and sound of both those bikes.
eh, you might just want to avoid bikes. you already had enough people here give you opinions.

Would a 2001 Ducati Monster 600 be a good first starter bike?
Might have the opportunity to purchase one locally and thought I'd ask around. FYI, ther owner's asking $3000, it has ~8500 miles, 6k mile service completed last year, and a few misc. mods. TIA.
I wouldn't buy any euro bike past 06 and out of warranty (even if they don't cover you). maintenance intervals could be a pain in the ass and parts can be expensive. this is probably the only reason why I won't buy a hyper or even aprillia, ktm, husqvarnas or husaberg. that and I have to many damn hobbies.

funny I was just drinking that lunch IPA last night with my brother in law along with some dreadnaught.

my bike has the tool kit mounted on the side. the only other thing i could think of bringing is patch repair kit, tube, co2 dispenser and cartridges. packing light is easy for me.

debating on doing a long distance trip on the wr250 from socal to norcal in oct... could take a nice trip up the 101 or the boring 5. for some reason taking a single that far seems scary but people do these rides all the time.

i was actually surprised by the avery barrel aged series. the last time i had one of their beers i didnt enjoy it as much as i used to but those changed my mind. looking forward to the next series release from them.

@ren if you want the other 2 sisters (Madame Rose, Lolita) let me know. Those and Juliet are still all over the shelves in NY.
word! the madame rose interests me.. im waiting on 4 packages.. i think i got too involved in beer this month.. should be some cisco woods, 3 floyds, GI, and some upland. i still have some growlers of expo left and debating if i should trade them or now.
in other news... international IPA day tomorrow maybe ill drink my alpine stash.

I was going to trade some expo for it but ended up asking for a bottle
of Juliet instead.

the DRZ400sm is also a good one. i tend to find those cheaper than the wr250x.

mike. you can take a look at supermoto bikes. I have a wr250x which is a blast to ride and somewhat cheap on insurance compared to a sport bike. the plus side is that you can take them into dirt, just nothing too crazy or you can take them through a football field of a high school when you want to take a shortcut…not that I'd ever condone doing such a thing.

^I need to open a bottle of that and try it, I've been hearing a lot about it.
Also, I thought Ichabod had wild yeast in it every year ren? I know the 07 and 09 both have it.
it usually does, when i was asking them if they were gong to release it this year they said it might not be sour this year. they do have a few other others in barrels that should be releasing the same time.

i think they are gone already.. ichabod will be out but it might not be sour this year. last years was sour because 2009 wasn't ready so they threw it into another/different barrel and released it for 2010.

oh believe me, i don't know what i would do with a nelson IPA.. i'm actually waiting for my tattoo artist to give me a call so i can bring this growler of nelson up to LA.

alpine is close to san diego, they have a very small distribution channel that only makes it way to SD, LA, and SF.
