i agree on barcelona.. definitely. i went there one summer and i LOVED it.

if its authentic, try going to a gucci store and exchanging it? i find it hard to believe they dont a variety of sizes in hats..

i saw them at this store called 'gianni' at sherman oaks fashion square. they're pretty fugly, but they're definitely the ones you were looking for.

i'm pretty sure just the stores... but you can always go on ebay and buy a pair.

if you're in the US you can do a charge/send by calling one of the stores, as well.

marc by marc jacobs and marc jacobs collection shoes from the fall/winter collection are 70% off... just fyi (pretty sure it's just womens though). they've been on sale for probably a week now so its limited sizes and colors, but worth a shot while theyre still available.

i think the netherlands would be pretty sick. especially if you can be in a city like amsterdam. it's beautiful there, and as previously mentioned, you can get around europe pretty easily. plus, pretty much EVERYONE in the netherlands speaks english.

for the record, those marc jacobs fingerless gloves can be bought in their store for 5 DOLLARS. find someone and have them send them to you, dont pay someone on ebay 30 bucks for them.. they're not exactly "designer quality"...

i dont know if the 5 minute walk north of houston is too much (ha), but my favorite lunch spot by far is westville, at west 10th and bleecker. really amazing food, and simple, no-frills place. its also TINY so if you go at a busy time, be ready to basically sit on top of people. look their menu up on menupages or something.
