yeah, i mean selvedge is something that's a great plus on a pair of jeans that are ALREADY great jeans for other reasons.
cut, stitch style, wash, etc...
just because they're selvedge doesn't mean they're any good.
just for the record, i highly doubt these old navys are actual selvedge.

i'm going to get this watch and have the engraved part taken off by a jeweler.. he said he'd only charge 35 dollars to do it too...
love the watch, hate the branding.

i think he should double or triple the prices.
imagine that. people would freak and the kids would want the stuff even more.
and less people would be able to afford it, therefore less people would be wearing it, and he'd be happy in the end.

if the salt and/or snow changes your denim you should be proud of that.
it's natural wear due to your living environment.
it's what denim is all about.
you've gotta live in them.

i don't get it...
are you guys just buying ANYTHING that's selvage???
i mean, just because it's selvage doesn't mean:
1. it looks good
2. is made well
3. it's going to age well
jesus, what's next?
old navy selvage?

you guys MUST check out the two new cords out by Trovata.. unbelievable cut, real slim and straight through the leg, amazing accents like the stitch patterns and rear left pocket button, and the pockets are made of the wildest rough stitch material...
basically they're the coolest cords i've ever seen.
and at about 150 a pair, they're a steal for what you're getting.

i'm with Teddy Boy....Quote:i believe the CDGs are about $150ish....but i dont like them much. dont like the 'CDG' embroidery below the laurel and the color combos arent appealing to me.

the only reason i didn't pick up a CDG Fred Perry polo is because the "cdg" embroidery looks awful and looks like it was an afterthought in the design.

i absolutely LOVE Notify..
they're cuts are fairly mod, but the washes are just outstanding.
really, you have to see them to believe it.
i have four pairs, and my most recent pair is a really dark indigo that's be completely resin pressed so the denim has a shine to it and looks black, but with wear this is going to look amazing in all the right places. i can't wait to wear these in. they seem to run about half a size bigger than most other jeans i own..
they're worth the extra money, you won't be dissapointed.

i did do a search dude.
all i came up with was the company website, which for some odd reason lists all sorts of info except where to buy them.
