Zero is probably using some BS Chinese maple now... At least for the team boards.

Vehicle wood is top notch.

I've never been a fan of Zoo boards, but I think that's due more to the shape than the actual quality of construction.

I'm confused now. I thought Shrink-to-fits are NOT pre-washed, which is why they shrink.

They are listed as "hard blue" on the Levi's homepage.

If they are pre washed, are there any 501's (or other Levi's) that are not pre-washed that are easily accessible? Shrink-to-fits are not pre washed, right?

Get in touch with Robbie Gangemi at Vehicle.

I'm pretty sure he makes his own boards in house.

Not sure how down he would be for making boards for someone else, but it's worth a try.

I may just buy the "Shrink to fits" true to size and then dryclean them.

They seem like really good jeans for a really good price.

I have some questions too...

I know you're supposed wear you jeans a while before you wash them, but if I don't wash the shrink to fits won't they be huge since you have to buy a few sizes bigger?

How are you supposed to get nice wear if the jeans are so big?

After you wash them, can you still get nice contrast, creasing, and fading?
