today was another adventure up country. this time to an isolated farm on the central plateau to collect a truck with my mum and stepdad.

it had been parked for ten years and the first problem was how to get it down the hill onto the trailer.

luckily the brakes were not seized, and the steering worked, so with some pushing, some winch and some spinning tires we got it onto the trailer.

next problem was the cattle yard with deep water, it was decided that the best way through was to use the hill to get a run up.

after bouncing through the water and doing small damage to the tow vehicle it was going to be smooth sailing, well after negotiating the narrow muddy farm track towing a heavy truck and avoiding the sheer drops.
