Just robocopped a case of the Stone 12th anniversary stout..
Shit is next level, as it usually is coming from Stone.
I'm going to try really hard to make it to their party next month with a list of the country's best guest brewers there showing off their limited batch work.
Chocolate stout = amazing
Oatmeal stout = amazing
Chocolate x Oatmeal stout = genius
What's the price per bottle? $5?
Will have to visit BevMo

Let's organize mass Korean BBQ.
Thurs/Fri/Sat are ideal, obviously.
I've already purchased Lavin x Rick Wayans Haz-mat suit to ward off odors.

Shit, I been looking for good summer shorts for a while. Club Monaco. Duh. Will cop tomorrow or day after.I bought those in grey also they fit really well.
Hmm......the grey and blue were on sale at a few local Club Monacos for like $25 each. I thought the fit was pretty shitty. Did not cop. Pretty wide opening, a bit too long. Been a fucking huge hassle finding some reasonably fitting shorts this summer.

Individually, I think everything could be used nicely, but this combination looks awful.

really?! I can't imagine them replacing shoes just because they are extremely delicate, but I'll give it a try, thanks for the info!
Us fat Americans sue people for everything and complain on the internet alot, so prominent businesses are usually reluctant to ignore quality/customer service issues.
I would say you have an extremely high chance of either getting a replacement or some form of credit from them, especially if you position it like:
" Dear CP,
I'm a longtime customer and have always been impressed with the quality of your shoes, etc., etc. that's why I was extremely surprised when my new desert boots came apart at the seam after only two weeks of moderate us; I am very unhappy as I invested a considerable amount of money in these, fuck you, blah blah"

yeah that shit is crazy. i would email them the picture and maybe you'll get a replacement pair
I don't think there would be an excuse for them not replacing them. That is the last part of a shoe you would ever expect to tear open with such limited use (soles look pretty new)....
When/if you contact CP, cc Prathan ([email protected]) he's one of the founders and has been pretty helpful with my questions in the past.

^^
Shit.
The first time I saw the desert boots I remember posting on here about how absurdly thin/flimsy the suede seemed.
Sucks man.
You should definitely contact CP:
At that price, there's no excuse for flawed goods

hey,
this is my first post. I have been watching the forums for a little while now. I was wondering if anyone might know where I could find one of these jackets, or something simmilar, in a Medium.
http://www.cheapmonday.com/version2/images/products/medium/1215_Oldie_jacket_boy_wine.jpg
http://www.revolveclothing.com/DisplayProduct.jsp?product=SHAD-MO40&c=Jackets+%26+Coats&s=C&d=b
The Cheap Monday one is from quite a few seasons ago so I would be surprised if someone could find that. I like the Cheap Monday jacket more but really I am just looking for a nice Bomber style jacket. also not much more then $200
Firstly, neither of these are bomber jackets or even bomber-style jackets.
The first is a Harrington jacket (the most well know version being the Baracuta G9, as JPsmith inadvertently pointed out) and the second is an M65.
If you want a Harrington, brands that continually make/release them are: Baracuta, Fred Perry, Merc London, Ben Sherman, Lonsdale, etc
There are many threads on this site regarding flight jackets / M65s, etc
Do a search

those are apple employees who clap and cheer once the doors open for the ipod line and every time a customer walks out with an iphone. some people waited like a week lulz.
buncha dumbfucks if you ask me. lining up in the damn heat and humidity for something thats mass produced and easily obtainable by everyone.
The fact that someone has the new iPhone a few days before everyone else is greatly overshadowed by the fact that they waited several hours in line to get it. Of course, the reason they did this was for that single instance that may or may not occur in the three days before everyone else gets theirs:
Douche A: "Hey man, is that the new GEN iphone, bra?"
Douche B: "Yep" (trying to stay cool but extremely excited that someone asked)
Fuck an iPhone

i got it from my trip to vancouver from the LV store. i got it with tax for about $720? hehe looked everywhere for itonly 720 bucks? what a bargain. almost for free then...720$ LMAO 10 charsRequesting a fit pic w/ you looking the least bit hetero
Probably the single worst "Recent Purchase" in SF history.
Not only did you blow your money on the most atrocious fruit-swag looking scarf conceivable, but you blew $700 on it. Could have picked that up at the local tranny/bondage store in Vancouver for $7.

If you're more worried about seclusion, Playa Del Rey is a really vacant beach area, at least to my memory. Problem is, it is far from quiet. Planes from LAX fly over the beach frequently.
I lived on the beach in Playa for 4 1/2 years. Infinitely quieter than Santa Monica/Venice/Manhattan/Hermosa, but it's most certainly not 'secluded'.........
If you want secluded, drive up to some of the northern parts of Malibu. Spend part of the day on the beach, and the rest hiking around there. Some beautiful spots.

No offense dude, but are you 12 years old?
You're going to goddamn Washington D.C., not Borneo.
Go to Weather.com, see what the weather's like the week you're there and plan accordingly.

Hello! I'm going to be in Paris from tue the 22 th july to 27th july
if anyone knows of any good parties, art shows, happenings, mischief, going on those dates please let me know. Also good, god shops, restarurants.
basically everything and anything interesting.
Cheers
I don't think they have a god shop in Paris
Also, the French aren't really known for food, so there aren't many good restaurants in Paris.

No offense dude, but this is insultingly vague.
What can you afford to spend? $300K, $30K, $3 million ?
Also, you absolutely don't need to co-own the property with a US citizen if you want to buy in the US.
If you're looking for a deal and buy a fixer upper, you are going to have to hire out a contractor to do all of the necessary work to bring it up to par, and since you are out of the country, not only will you have to hire a property management company to deal with everything from evictions to replacing your tenant's lightbulbs, but you also have to worry about repainting/recarpeting/refinishing/maintenance for the unit when needed (which can be once a year if you have high turnover and/or a shitty tenant). This is always feasible when you can spread out these costs over the margins you are making on several units if you own a complex, etc, but if you only have one or two units it can hurt you. That's why your budget is obviously key.
It isn't a complete buyer's market here and not everyone is going to turn a profit on buying during the housing slump; far from it. In fact, you could very easily end up losing alot of money. In a plethora of areas in the US, even with housing prices down, you couldn't get a renter to pay a fee high enough to even cover your mortgage if you were to buy and try to rent out.
If there was a formula as easy as, say: Have $75K, buy in Pittsburgh, rent it out = turn profit in 10 years, we'd all be filthy rich right now. Unfortunately, it's a bit more complicated; there's an unbelievable amount of factors to consider.
Now, if you're just a rich Russian who wants a nice condo to live in in NYC / a vacation home in New Mexico, or a Japanese businessman who can afford half of the commercial property in Denver, it's a different story. Yes, foreigners are investing here, but it's not guaranteed profit. You'd want to REALLY know what you're doing.
It's also good to note that in addition to the taxes you'll pay on the property/profits here, you're also going to have to pay them on any income you bring into the UK as well. To try and minimize this, you'd have to set up a corporation here, etc.
Lastly, remember that your rent money is going to come back to you in USD, which you will have to convert to GBP. So in the long run, if the pound continues to strengthen against the dollar, the money you make in the US is going to equate to even less in GBPs i.e. it doesn't matter that the GBP is valued so highly right now, unless you are planning on buying and permanently moving here, etc. 99% of the Brits buying in the US right now are simply buying small vacation homes/apartments for personal use in places like Florida, etc
Honestly, you're probably better off looking at a developing college town in the UK.

Why do I get the feeling that it actually went something like:
Kirsten Dunst: That goth ninja has a gag ball in his mouth and is motioning me towards the bathroom
Crispin Glover: That's OK baby, take some of this shiny powder in your drink LoL
Kirsten Dunst: I'm feeling all craaazzzeeee
Darkanimal: Hey slut, you ever slept in Julius distressed lambskin sheets?
Kirsten Dunst: Tobey?
