  1. All prices without shipping.

    1. Opening Sweater high collar jacket, MINT size 38/48: Chris recently posted this as one of his favorite recent purchases. Its a great jacket, made of linen, lightweight for spring/early fall. I had someone pick it up for me (when I called, OC said they had 2 others on hold as well so this is apparently popular right now...because of Chris?). It was a bit of a hasty purchase and I'm targeting something with a hood now. Still has tags from last week - $485 listed on tag. You save on tax charges. In terms of fit --- shoulders are very narrow and cut very slim.

EDIT:Sweetening the deal on the OC jacket --- take 20$ off and free shipping if you buy it before tomorrow afternoon. Otherwise, I send it back for a store credit. I just don't like store credits if I can avoid it...

    2. Patrik Ervell blue shawl collar military/flight sweater, size 38/48: Great sweater, 100% alpaca. Fits nice and loose on purpose, good with slim pants and with a shirt underneath. Wouldn't recommend to someone who wasn't usually a small cuz you dont want this fitted. Worn a few times in house, never out. Did not make OC sale. Selling for $350 (from 450)

    6. APC wide stripe sweater, size small: this is from a few years back I think. Worn several times, still in 8-9/10 shape. No side seams on this sweater and fits really nice (this is from the good fit days before APC started fitting like J Crew). SOOOLD

    7. APC short sleeved shirt - I think this is from last Spring. Got it as a gift. Size medium so I never wore it. MINT. SOOOOLD

    8. Acne Aktie Sports coat - This is from a few seasons back when Acne was copying Dior directly - nice structured shoulders, grey color, fits short (unlike the new Akties) and very fitted, very narrow lapels, and cut high in general in the scandinavian style. I listed this before and had bidders but then decided to keep it at the last moment. So, needless to say, this has been (gently) worn several times now but still in great shape. SOOOOLD

    10. Umbro by Kim Jones shoes - fit a size 10-10.5 American: I bought these years ago in the first season of Kim Jones shoes. It was the last season I was interested in because everything afterwards has logos on the back of the sole...which sucks. I had to beg shotgun to find a pair of overstocks. If you are likeminded on the logo issue, you might be interested. Worn once out and never again - I am a size 11. $50

  2. Hey,

Like alot of you, I'm an ex-skateboarder (stopped ~4yrs ago after a solid decade) and I'm going snowboarding for the first time soon. I previously disliked the idea and snowboarder culture in general but Ive apparently matured so...I need to buy some gear quick (as in the next week). Any recs? I have no idea how to go about this but I assume - pair of wool long-johns + fleece + jacket + pants + goggles + beanie would cut it and I can rent the boots and board? (have a ticket to colorado)

I greatly appreciate your recs...and links to low pretense, fit-for-a-newbie items would be awesome, must be something out there on sale at this time of year.

  3. Saving up for something good. What do the audiophiles recommend? Need everything -re receiver, speakers etc...have the turntable... In terms of aesthetics - anything super minimal? wood would be nice too....

  4. That strap coat is horrible imho. yikes.....I can't believe how bad that is...parachutist inspiration or not...

Backpack, however, looks great. Not into the polyurethane thing either though cool to see more people using it (I liked the ervell air jacket in that material). Hopefully cool stuff to come. Sometimes his details are a bit too much (the parachutist detail on the back) but maybe my taste is too boring.

  5. yikes...not at all what I hoped for. Jil is way better for the season and, as mentioned, seems more Raf to me. I dont much appreciate the cut of things here and the suits are not appealing at all...liked the narrow lapels of past much better. oh well...

  6. Dudes who look like they would hang out at Marquee or something on a Saturday night. Dudes who looked like they would make fun of me for wearing tight jeans two years ago.

exactly...cuts keep getting boxier too (in a bad way)...

  7. i kinda know what he means -- its dude haven now. APC has changed alot since 2000. the collections are so much worse too. Even the jeans - compared a pair of NS from 1999 to my new cures (2004) today - stitching but especially the hardware has changed alot. Front button used to pivot and spin a bit on its base.

anyways, if anyone sees a pair of charcoal Raf pants, small coin pocket on the front, in size 38 --- I will pay dearly! trying to complete a suit, bought the jacket at barneys ny several months ago...browns had the pants but now sold out.

  8. Picked these items up in size 48/M from oki-ni sale. Rash purchase and I can only stand to lose now with custom charges etc. I am gonna try and sell these now and, lucky for you, you wont have to deal with international shipping and customs charges. Catch is, I'm only gonna wait a day before I just bite the bullet and send the stuff back so please let me know asap.
