actually when i see a mediocre looking jean with nothing out of the ordinary except for some extremely loud back pockets going for 400 dollars on ebay, i see yelling as necessaryQuote:Sweet Jesus, what's with all the yelling?

the cut looks really weird,
i havent seen them in person or anything so i dont want to look overly opinionated
but it looks like the thigh area is really big and then it tapers alot at the knee to make a scrunch effect on the shin area. im just not diggin it sorry

Sugar Cane Repros the Levi's jsut like LVC does and im begining to get the feeling that sugar cane and other japanense brand might be doing it better than LVC does. APC is not junk, junk is overly distressed luckies that make people feel trendy, while at the same time making them look just like everyone elseQuote:Quote: apc is just junk in my opinion, and sugarcanes are lvc ripoffswhat makes APC junk? And I don't think sugarcanes are LVC ripoffs. They are just reproductions of old Levis jeans just like LVC are reproductions of them too.

straight leg jeans is often harder pull off and less acessable than bootcut jeans, i dont dislike bootcut jeans on women as most jeans i see are bootcut, but the straight looks much better on the right type of girl. its all about figure in my opinion,
if they ahve perfect hips then wearing straight leg wont look as good as a bootcut, its asll about the girl

when it comes to levi's if you want true vintage, go With LVC, it is repros of all the best years of various cuts primaly the 501. the true classic levi jean is the 1947 501. many japanese companies replicate this edition and often they do it better than LVC, but still LVC is none the less extremely nice. Some Amazing Japanese brands that do that are Sugar Cane, Yen, Skull, and warehouse and samuri.
another good year was 44 if you like baggy asses
for true vintage hit up the 1890's...i think
use the search function and youll find loads of info about LVC adn levis repros

Skinners
another pair of skinners
i have some diesel, a kratt (the best diesel ever)
a zathan
and a fanker
a jean doesnt have to be selvage to be good, for me its all about the fit, cause im a small guy 5/8 and skinny, so finding a jean that fits is more important than selvage, but thank fully there are slim fitting selvage jeans so both my prayers are answered

After reading that pretty lame topic about that guy trying to sell his worn in SB's, i think that we really need some moderation maybe we do have mods, (chad and wayne) but ive never seen them. some threads need to be locked to avoid the constant flames that get sparked over and over again. As long as we have someone unbiased that cares about the future of the forum heading up this moderationlike.......which is why i say tragic bliss for moderator!
