damn, it's so hard to break in these bk's

I'm buying a F151 through Concept10. Muz, the owner told me that these run a little bit tight in the waist and he's recommending me to get a size 36 even if i normally wear a size 34. he is familiar with shrinkage and all and he has a pair. he claims he wears the same size as mine and he got a 36.
anyone got any information if this is accurate? i'm ready to double-click...

the blues aren't that slim at all. it's definitely loser than the 811. it's just a tad slimmer than 1947's.

sorry, no measuring tape. i'll try to do them as soon as i can.
jeffyvain, seems to me the oni blue is a inseam 34 (or longer). I'm 6ft and it's still too long for me even after the wash.

I was thinking about that, but i'm going to be in japan. It just seemed like a waste to go there and not pick up any nice stuff. I think most stuff there is like 150-200 USD anyway, and since APC's are like, 130 USD, I thought I'd just bite the bullet and start with japanese.
i bought my 45rpm sorahiko in their ginza store for $210

hey, if i can help with a quick translation or two, let me know.
can you please give a rough description of the f151?

john, are you still shipping to the philippines? wouldn't it cost you a fair bit that way?
like i said $215 shipped.
i want to find out why they are underrated. i swear the fades i saw on these are awesome!

Here are some more...

you just made me crave for it even more. tried calling concept10 and i can't reach them. they'll be cheaper by $40 and they undervalue the item. i've ordered a pair of margielas from them. the guy from the japanese site can't understand what i mean by undervaluing to save on taxes. it's quite hefty here. probably around $50.

for you chicken, i'll do it.
i've emailed the co. and it'll be $215 shipped to Asia. i saw the faiding in denim stylebook 2 and was quite impressed. although the guy was telling me it's tight fit. as long as it's not skull-tight i'd be happy (like 811 tight).
but the edo ai's taking center stage for now. the oni's are already the way i want them to be.
will post pics when i get them.

just mashine washed my stinking oni from the ocean wash. it looks even better. i'm really going to take it slow on them now.
working on the edo ai and the 811 simultaneously. new project on its way: FOB Factory 151.......

dont know if this has been answered already but what does this say? cant google translate a patch. thanks.
I WANT ONE!

The Edo Ai it is. PG2G, yeah since the AI's are nice as it is I'd rather concentrate on my other projects. You are doing it for us already anyways.
Will be rotating the Edo Ai's with the 811's. The color of these Sugar Canes doesn't really match easily with any clothing like an ordinary jean.
I'm wearing them now and the unique color never cease to dazzle me. You just tend to look at it often because it is so beautiful. Different hues of blue and green that differs in tint depending on the light. I'm seeing dominating green color on parts where it seems to be fading a bit....slowwwlllllyyy....I guess I have to write this in the SC thread.

Its gonna be a while, I've never seen indigo this stubborn Its probably a combination of natural indigo and whatever massive amount of dipping it takes to justify charging $500+ on jeans
Anyway, why are you shelving the Onis? To work on other projects?
Yes. At the same time, I've attained close to what I want to achieve in terms of fading. I really want to take the oni's gradually from now on.
So which would the next one be? the sorahikos, edo ai's, s5000bk, or the 811s?

THESE WILL HAVE A MASHINE WASH TOMORROW, INSIDE OUT.

FUCK PURE BLUE JAPAN. THIS RIGHT HERE, ONI DENIM, THE DEVIL DENIM, IS THE DEFINITION OF PURE FUCKING SLUB.[/b]
the unevenness of the fade due to the texture is so amazing and unique...
That's a bit harsh poly. Remember, we haven't seen worn out AI's. I think PG2G is working on his. I have one and that should be my next project.
But the slubbiness is truly like no other for the Devil denim. It gives a 3D effect that gives different hues of blue.
The Oni's are now officially weekend jeans.

yours is nice as well crisis.
i do want mine to fade a bit more so i'd probably wash them not inside out.
the oni denim is one of the most underrated brand. this really an amazing pair.

these stink after washing them in the ocean. the humid weather didn't make it dry properly like poly's experience.
i'm definitely going to wash them. which is better a hand or machine wash? i want them to fade a bit more. should i wash them inside out?

How come no one is interested that much with FOB Factory? I'm thinking of getting the F151 since I saw how amazing it fades in the Denim style guide vol. 2

Yes. It is nice here but I think the seas of Boracay island in the Phils is way way better.
