am i the only one who doesn't get what the point of these collaborations are? The pieces from the previous ones -- now granted they are obviously better pieces than typical h&m stuff but are they worthy of their collaborators? Maybe I'm just a "glass half empty" kind of person but instead of seeing these collaborations as something taking fashion to the next level, I can only see them as the diluting or dumbing down of the designer houses involved.

just got back from this bar in the east village with a kitschy concept -- a quiet bar, no music, no loud conversation allowed, when the noise level reaches a certain point, the bartender starts a loud "shhhh!!" which is a cue for everyone to join in shushing and then it gets quiet again. wish i remembered the name of the bar...

i'm sure he meant "fit" to refer to one's overall look and style but it certainly sounds at first like he's suggesting a round faced person can't fit into a slimane suit. I was just pointing out that traditionally a lot of asians have smaller, slimmer ectomorph frames while having a rounder face so there is an entire race out there of round faced people who can easily slip into a slimane suit. but on the topic of the round faced *style* not fitting...well, that's just a matter of opinion and i would probably tend to agree with him
