surprisingly dark for a spring collection. my favorites are the jackets with the rolled up sleeves. i'm curious to see if they are just rolled up or if they are constructed shorter. also like that there are above-the-knee shorts unlike this current spring collection that has shorts that are too long for me

fit is good. if you want to shrink the waist, i'd recommend a 30min partial hot soak_ @top block. then, dilute w/cold to cool off & submerge the entire jeans for about 45mins or so.

i guess my confusion is what do you mean by "formal"? To me "formal" only refers to a tux you might wear to a wedding or a very special event. While I don't consider job interviews "casual", I wouldn't necessarily call that a "formal" occasion either and I would totally wear that jacket to a job interview. And I most certainly would wear that length to other occasions like a night at the opera perhaps (but not the opening night, in which case I'd wear the "formal" length)

How do Lanvin shoes fit, are they tts? They look a bit narrow so I want to know if I should size up.

i wouldn't. I have 3 high tops, 1 low top an I was about to buy their patent leather blue balmoral so i was trying them on all over the place. From these 5 experiences, I've only felt that one of them turned out tight and just barely. They are pretty true to size. If ordering online, just make sure you've got the correct size listed (whether it's in US sizing or UK sizing).

i'm surprised there isn't more discussion about 3x1. This is the first I'm hearing about its denim being "trash" They boast of denim from mills in Japan (Kubaro, Collect, Kaihara and of course Cone in usa) but I haven't heard of these mills yet. All the reviews I've read only talk about the customization and make no mention of the denim qualities like weight, dye, fading etc. Den.m.bar is smart to come here and chat with us. A good way for you guys to make this forum salivate is if you give an in depth look at the denim itself and not just on the customization process.

well it depends on what you mean by "amazing texture" -- if you mean very streaky and contrast-y, then yes samurai or eternals. Personally (and i think a lot of people agree with me), "amazing texture" can also mean very crinkly, marble-like and that's exactly what warehouse is awesome for
