If you like Naked Music and DJs like Miguel Migs, check out anything by Francois K. He's an old-skool NYC house DJ who used to throw Body and Soul at Club Vinyl back in the day. Excellent sunday afternoon party (like 3pm to midnight) with classic house, deep house and tribal house all thrown together. He's got three CDs labelled Body and Soul Vol. 1-3.

Dimitry from Paris also has several good house mixes out. Check out records on Subliminal (if they are still around).....

Just started the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Currently on Book II.....5 more to go....

The weather seems to be changing just a tad each year. This year, the rainy season is already full on with 15 minute thunder showers every afternoon. It will probably get worse throughout the summer, so it's not the best place to sport your hot new kicks unless you're cabbing from location to location. Last year the rains got so heavy that even Thonglor (party neighborhood) flooded - first time in a number of years.

August 12 is a holiday, so schools and most offices will be closed. That said, all shopping centers and malls throughout the city will be open. Party-party.

Here are some spots:

Thonglor (Sukhumit Soi 55) - Local party spots at Escudo and Song Salung (mostly hip-hop) and the pubs on Thong Lor Soi 10 (Boose, Jet, Gigabyte). You won't find many farangs at these places or the Isaan girls from Nana.

Nana/Asoke (Sukhumvit Soi 11) - Here you'll find Bed Supperclub playing house/trance and Q-Bar hosting some international DJ of the month. Very international scenes as both places but a little too heavy on the obvious working girls, especially at Q-Bar. Wouldn't be too bad if they weren't all the GI-Joe variety.

RCA (around Rama IX) - Most lively party spot in Bangkok with a string of clubs/pubs down a long stretch. Route 66 has the best hip hop and Slim would be a close second. Astra and Flix host the international drum & bass/house/breaks scene. Overall, RCA is very young and a good mix of local, international, university, professionals, lounge girls off the clock, etc.

Patpong (Silom 4) - Aside from the obvious red light district there are also several hidden spots around Soi 2/1 namely Breakz, which features excellent local jungle/house DJs. Also, there are plenty of gay clubs in the area mostly on Soi 2

Khaosan Road (old town) - This is the acclaimed backpacker strip: lots of dreadslocks and Israelis. The Club has been getting a lot of hype lately: mostly tourists with glowsticks. Also, Cafe Democ is supposed to be around there somewhere. I've never been but have heard good things about the place.

Those are probably the most obvious places to check out. I'm totally scratching the surface here but if there are also plenty of other excellent spots maybe 2 or 3 layers below the surface.

Someone mentioned this before but Rag & Bone make some lightweight denim. The RB8s are 10.5 oz and fade into this weird greenish hue. Not sure if they still make'em but they are from two seasons ago.

Tried a 30 (my normal waist) and there is no way i could have even put my legs through them. had to go up to a 33 to even button it. I'm really confused with eternal, probably one of the reasons why i haven't taken the plunge.

Just tried on some one wash Eternals from Take5 in HK. I usually wear a 30 but the only ones that fit were the 33s. I think the 32s would be ideal (none were in stock at the time), which would be tight but would loosen to a perfect fit.

WIth the Eternal 811s, I think you need to take your normal waist size and add 2 to it.

i often thought about something along these line. i don't give a fuck about artificial boobs and such. to me, if i can feel them, then they're real. a new half has their dicks cut off and have a vagina made. if their new shit was perfectly formed and there was really no difference between they're new pussy and a genuine pussy i think that i could probably go through with it. i don't think i could party with a hermaphrodite though.

Don't forget that there's only so much that can be done to totally complete the transformation. They can get rid of the Adam's apple, but the voice will still get you. Plus the hands and feet will usually give it away. That's the kind of shit that would get in my head.

But are there other options I should consider? Should I buy in Asia or go to the diamond district in NYC? Can I find the stone and get it set at a different shop? Any help would be very much appreciated...
