UPDATE: SOLD, thanks for the interest!
FINAL BUMP: my Acronym SS-J4 is finally up on eBay - bidding starts at $399, which is SIGNIFICANTLY less than I paid. Last chance people, you'll never seen another SS-J4 in new condition ever again!

Got measurments? Fits true to size?

It's hard to say what's true to size for a softshell, but I will say that the fit is quite slim - go buy an XL at REI and you'll get a tent.

I just bought this BRAND NEW Acronym SS-J4 in XL, thinking I could make it work, but it's just too long on me. Too bad, because it's so, so beautiful. Before I return it, does anyone here want it? The price would be $485 shipped to the US 48, Paypal verified only. It's sold out on acronym.de at 493 euros, which is about $641. You can check my eBay feedback - I'm legit! Email me at litwack |at| gmail dawt com. I'll give this a day, and then it goes back to the store.

Got these as a gift and they're too long in the inseam and not my style (I only wear dry denim.) They fit a little bit loose but would probably shrink. $60 Paypal - they retail at Saks for $192. Photos:
Shipping included. If you want them, PM. Tons of positive feedback on eBay under username "symbebekos."

nice price on the newtons. can't even find them for that cheap used in japan!
That's troubling. Buckminsters are next on my list, but there's no way I'm paying $250 or whatever.

Not my style to post stuff I buy, but I do enjoy what others put up so I thought I'd give it a try. All prices include tax.
Lightning #28 denim style book $13 at Kinokuniya in J-Town.
Coyote skull ("Fritz," my new best friend) $36 at Necromance on Melrose.
Visvim Newton mids size 11 $107 at Undefeated. I think there might be one more pair in this size and style at the same price. Like a fool I slept on a pair of dry Visvim Fluxus jeans in my size next door at Union for $200 and when I checked this time, they were gone. Le sigh.

Does anyone have one of these for sale in XL, or know of a store that still has one in stock? Union LA has one, but they want way over retail for it ($780!)

Floral sofa. Kidding - Acronym 3A-1 on sale at Union. I wear a lot of black, so the white makes a nice contrast. The construction is amazing. I'm so in love with ACR; too bad the GT-J7 seems to be sold out worldwide in my size.

I think Situationnormal has some APC pieces this season...they're on the website, anyway.

I really really like the Fluxus - I passed up a pair of the 01 style at Union NY for $200 and have been kicking myself since. Nice cut, fantastic details - black and white rivets and buttons, as I recall.

Philly heart, LA parking space.

Ever try looking up Kaws in the Wikipedia? There's nothing there...I just set up Starcastle, a wiki for art and culture and so forth in the hopes of making a place on the web where people can get answers and gurus can supply wisdom. (A wiki is a series of pages linked together that anyone can edit - so nerdy, but it works!) I've learned so much from Superfuture and hopefully some of you would be interested in marking out a permanent place for what you know about selvage, or Electric Cottage, or Klaus Oldenburg, or whatever. Copy and paste your old posts! What's online right now is broad but supershallow; hopefully that will change. Check: http://www.starcastle.org.

Thanks for the info. Sort of depressing. I'll have to make a trip to the APC store when I'm in NY next week.

Is there a place with APC in LA? I didn't read the whole thread, so forgive me if this has been asked already.

Just wanted to dig this old topic up to see if anyone has a rip of the DVD...I'm over Bathing Ape but still really interested in Nigo. There were some shots of his house in Brutus Casa a couple months ago that were out of control.

Cheap: Parls
Expensive: Nat Sherman 110s
So best: Drum rolled by that Greek girl you're crushing on.
I quit, though.

Frank White - thanks. The GT-J6 is actually the piece I want. Think I'm going to head to Union and see if they have it in. Slam Jam is also carrying a few things - I didn't do the math to see if they'd be cheaper than Hanon.

Does anyone have more information about Acronym than what's on Beinghunted? Pricing? When it coming to LA? I saw the old stuff in Relax, and the new collection looks nice.

All right.
I skated as a kid in Philly - I rode a Vision deck with a dragon on it, and I wore Stussy, which is what all the little skate punks I knew wore. We all worshipped Tony Hawk and played a lot of Spy Hunter. Fast forward to 2004. I moved to LA. I haven't skated - seriously, we used to say thrashed - in almost fifteen years. Now I play bocce and golf, but I think roots are important. I drove by Supreme last Saturday, saw a thousand kids there, and kept going. I went back on Monday when the line was gone, bought two shirts (not box tees, either), a backpack, and two Fuck Bush stickers. I was this close to buying a setup, but figured I'd think about it and come back.
So my question for Jupa is, am I real, or a sucker? I like Supreme, and I like to occasionally wear shirts that remind me of my youth, but if my participation in your brand is going to engender contempt, fuck that. Which is it?
