  1. Two pieces from the F/W 2009 collection. I took the tags off, tried them on, and never wore them again. Prices include shipping in the lower 48 US. Will trade both + $ for a Melton Award varsity jacket in L, on the off chance that pops up.

    1. Grey jeans - the lighter pair on the right, size 36. Made in Japan, true to size, chocolate leather patch. $148.

    2. Heavy fleece zip-up cardigan, size L. Much darker looking in person, basically black. Ideal zipper. $98.

  2. Brane, I don't know if this is what you had in mind, but I just set up an admin pouch from Stormtracker, looks like this:

I drop it in whatever bag I'm carrying if need be or throw it in my car. Contains l-r Kershaw Avalanche, tac pen, wave, lighter, cheapo LED flashlight, tape measure, USB stick, Atwood wrench + G4 Prybaby, trash bag, plastic gloves, clif bar.

  3. Wild - thanks for the kind words. Spy capsule has a tightly rolled hundo and aspirin.

I saw your keychain earlier, Zissou does beautiful work, the leather middle piece is a great idea and your custom key folder is killer. I carry my setup in my pocket and it doesn't really jingle due thanks to thick thighs but I don't know if I'd be as comfortable janitor-style.

  4. oh shit, look what just came in the mail

Initial impressions: this thing is SMALL and LIGHT and BRIGHT on the max setting. I tend to use my keychain light on max for short periods to find things in the dark but the moonlight mode is nice too. I was a concerned about the thread play (ti on ti) which is a little gritty but doesn't seem like it's going to be a big deal. Flashlight nerds would say "coat the threads in bronze" but that costs money.

Is it worth a hundred bucks? If titanium gets you wet it's a deal. If you're like me and have no patience and want the the newest hottest mid-size keychain light right now, maybe. I'm personally happy.

c'cwise from top: benz key, quark, valiant concepts pen (awesome), bug, tiny 8gb transcend card, disco fenom house key, gerber shard (garbage), spy capsule.

  5. Late to the thread but I bought one of the Quark CR2s and although I was taken aback by the battery program (and to a lesser extent the choice of titanium re heat dissipation) it seems like the clear next level keychain light? I can post some impressions when it shows up.

  6. I was thinking of splashing out for a CR Sebenza 21 small, but with all the Strider talk...what do you guys think, CR or Strider? I prefer the look of the seb but I've heard some shit about obsessive blade flipping damage not being covered under his warranty. and whenever I'm sitting at my desk I'm flipping a folder open and closed now out of habit.

  7. Dudes

You can use a Bluetooth keyboard with this thing, you don't need to buy the dock. Apple stockholders are happy, as the AAPL market cap went up $5b when Steve announced the price. If you don't like the Apple ibook store you can use the iphone Kindle app, and I'm sure Amazon will release a new one designed for the tablet. this thing is gonna be everywhere. Because the data plan is pay as you go, you can buy it one month and not buy it the next, which is kind of awesome if you think about it.

  8. Just got my new murdered out EDC knife, a Kershaw Avalanche. I did a fair bit of research before purchase - for $80 you get a G10 (grippy moisture-resistant synthetic material) handle and S30V blade steel which is apparently the go-to steel for good knives right now. The spring-assisted opening mechanism that's particular to Kershaw's Ken Onion knives feels great. I love it so far.

  9. That Sebenza is beautiful. Aight, here's my pocket dump:

l-r: cheap G-Shock, MetroPCS phone, old benz key, tiger key, iamakey usb drive, Utili-Key, Streamlight nano, spy capsule 2x w/ money + drugs, Spyderco Bug, lucky green card case. My plan is to keep the Bug knife and swap the utili-key for an Atwood prybaby, get a better keychain and put everything on McGizmo clips, and replace the Streamlight with a more substantial pushbutton light.

  10. Well like everyone else who's new to this thread I went back, browsed the hell out of it, and am now set to drop like two bills. Anyway, before I buy my new keychain flashlight, does anyone have a rec (and I think someone else asked about this) for a pushbutton one? Ideally it would be like push for moonlight, push for high, push to turn off. thankkkkkks
