  1. I'm going to Italy later this month...Wondering what is the best solution for using my US GSM Cingular phone over there. Can I just buy an Italian SIM at a newsstand?

  2. I had a black razr for two weeks when it first came out, returned it b/c it sucked. Went back to a Nokia 3120. Best phone I've had for basic use--make/recieve calls, SMS.

  3. If you're looking for basics, check the local HK brands like Baleno, Giordano, Blue Star etc...cool, super cheap clothes. A step up (in price) would be something like Izzue (another local brand). Mong Kok and TST (around Graville Road) are some of your best bets for local fashions.

  4. The one near me is like an hour away, so I'm not sure the next time I'll be out there. You could try calling a saks outlet and see if they ship. The model is Burberry 8451/S.

  5. Earnest Sewn does a women's selvedge--I think it's the Harlan model in Patriot. It's not raw denim, but it's selvedge. You can see em on earnestsewn.com and they have an online store now.

  6. As far as the 'sneaker game', for me, it has changed quickly over the past year. When I first started getting interested in actively 'hunting' for sneakers about 5 years ago, I was trying to get all the hot releases that were readily available in my city, on ebay, and online. Now, it's gotten to a point where it's too saturated and I only buy shoes from an aesthetic point of view, and not how hot, hyped, or limited a shoe is. I'm very discriminant about what I buy now--basically, I don't NEED or WANT every shoe that comes out.

But there will always be the fanatical head that camps out, and always the new kiddies that are just catching on to the game. So, I don't think the craze is going anywhere unless the sun explodes and we need shoes for other non-functional uses.

  7. ^Carl, like what your doing, I would just change the color scheme a little. I would've gone with an white/cream long sleeve t/sweater underneath. The green in the sweater doesn't match the green in the scarf and the greens in the jacket. A lighter contrasting color underneath would make the scarf stand out more. (I'm a big fan of scarves and like mine to stand out). Last, I would've gone with a pair of all white trainers, again b/c I don't like the way black and green go together.

Or, I would've gone with a white scarf and white shoes. I love the way white and green go together, but they have to play off each other in large doses to really work.

That's just my style. I think your clothing fits well, dope jacket, nice scarf, just don't like how the colors are put together.
