  1. there are just some normal people out there that don't really care about what clothes they are. they see it, they like it, they buy it.

they aren't thinking about...oh quality or oh is this crappy american streetwear? no they just think...oh this is nice, i think I'll wear it.

the vast majority of the people in the world are like this

  2. I see your point but you're sort of ignoring historical accounts and you're harping on the word "Pacific Islander" (which means Polynesian, Maori, etc). It is historically accurate to say that the Japanese population originated in China. It is not historically clear whether or not "Pacific Islander" cultures populated the Philippines. Think Hawaii vs. Japan if it helps.

The Malay people populated the Philippines.

    From wikipedia.com

There are usually two school of thoughts at the origins of the Malay people.

The first one is that the Austronesian-speaking ancestors of the Malays came from mainland Asia, settled around southern Vietnam, Indochina, the Malay peninsula and sailed towards the Malay archipelago until reaching the Philippines.

The other is that Austronesian-speakers from southern China sailed towards Taiwan. From there, they reached the northern Philippine island of Luzon and eventually spread southwards to the rest of the island group and reached Indonesia and the Malaysia with some outliers reaching sothern Vietnam and Indochina.

However there is another emerging school of thought that says that the Malays originated from Sumatra and then expanded outwards including into the peninsula which today bears their name. The main foundation of this school of thought lies in the fact that the oldest Malay settlements have been discovered in Sumatra and not in the Malay peninsula. This suggests an upward - south to north - migratory route. This opinion thus contends that if the Malays had came from the north - whether from the way of Indochina or Luzon - then the oldest Malay historical relics would be found in these places.

    Either way. We're Asian.

I suck at math, I do better in humanities. I'm Christian and I don't follow Confucianism.

  3. I just got back, I got there around 2pm and also had to wait to get in. I think it sucks. No nice hoodies, some sweatshirts but all put together by colorblind person. Some nice OC stuff but nothing great. I got a black classic shirt w/ tie, all black from ss06 for $40. Some Herchcovitch stuff but again nothing that good. I think it was mostly picked over. If you want umbro shoes it's worth going, otherwise don't bother.

dont hate on us colorblind people!

    its hard being colorblind!

  4. It's on Soompi.com/forums

People there have talked about the quality of their goods there before.

    http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=67426

You have to be a registered member of the forum to look at this part of the forum though I think.

Girls (who comprise the forum mostly who listen to Kpop and watch Korean dramas) complain some of the clothes are thin...that some of them are "freesize" which is like - one size fits all....and some of the clothes have engrish or messed up english (ya know like the weird english on Sanrio and Hello Kitty notepads Asian girls carry)

they were talking about the shirts and hoodies. I don't know about the outerwear and for mens clothing, since they were all women talking.

i think they said that the $500 minimum order rule just started a few weeks back. it hasn't always been like that.

oh...i think the retail place for the website is called Dongdaemun...it's in Seoul???

  5. i was gonna ask a question about this.

I go to a korean music forum - soompi.

the girl members there usually put their orders in together and one girl batch orders from that site.

you have to register for that site to even look at the things.

there's a few korean sites ive seen and wanted to order from...

good thing you didnt put the site address...or everyone on this forum will look like a bunch of fobs.

  6. personally i think the neckface tees were whack. no wonder i saw them on supreme shelves for a long time and in the warehouse sale.

"your mom is a cripple" wtf?

mad resellers...all the good stuff was gone by the time i got in. you saw people coming out with garbage bags filled to capacity with supreme stuff (think santa clause with a whole bag filled with toys)

but i got 3 caps, vans syndicate chukkas, beanies, and bandanas. shirts were whack (those cereal ones wtf).

went to the reed space sale and bought even more stuff with the money i saved from supreme.
